Bruce Willis Has Another Girl

Bruce Willis keeps on trying to have a boy, but seems to only be able to make girls. Over the weekend, Bruce and his wife, Emma Heming welcomed their first child together who they named Mabel Ray which is surprisingly normal for Bruce considering he also has a Rumer, and Scout. I think Tallulah is a fairly normal name too, so I will give him a pass for that one. Four kids, all daughters for Bruce.

  2. His wife kinda looks like Demi.

  3. I hope this one turns out cute, he and Demi did not make pretty girls together. Not one of them is even semi attractive.

    Yes, I am mean. whatever.

  4. Much better name than the other three.

  5. It would so suck for the other 3 if this Willis girl ends up gorgeous, lol. I can see the hate now. lol

  6. The genes are strong with Bruce. Those poor girls. I hope his new wife's genes are stronger this time.

Enty I don't think Tallulah is a normal name. It reminds me of a stripper.

Aw, that's nice. A 57 year old man made a baby. That's responsible. It'll be nice when he's too old to play with her or be there for her milestone events.

  8. One of 'em, I forget which one now, used to be a little bit cute, but unfortunately isn't so much now. And no, it wasn't the first one.

I thought Bruce wasn't having any more kids and that's why he and Brooke broke up?

    Mabel? Really?

  9. It's all in the timing. "Girl" sperm live longer. "Boy" sperm swim faster. Have sex during ovulation and it's a boy, a couple of days before, boy sperm die off and only girls are left to fertilize the ovum when it is released. Worked for me. One of each.

  10. They could spin for a boy, just like all the others did for their fraternal twins....

  11. Lynette, that tactic didn't work for me. I have four girls.

  12. maybe Demi named the other three.

  13. Let's hope this one doesn't have Rumer's jaw line.

  14. Michael K's got some funny stuff about the kid's name.

  15. I remember seeing pictures of the youngest one in US Weekly back in the early 2000's. I thought "Wow, she is going to be gorgeous in 5-10 years."

    Sadly, that did not happen.

  16. I thought Rumer was cute when she did Striptease w/her mom, poor middle one was daddy and the baby had hope. They wound up w/the worst of each...I was almost positive Bruce would have done what it took to have a boy this time. I was kinda surprised it was a girl, make that very surprised...

  17. I think it was Scout who was cute, iirc. She had a little bit of a demon face/evil eyes, but was cute nonetheless.
I like the name Mabel, I've had a soft spot for it since Mad About You. I hate the middle name Ray, though. It's one of those super common middles, like Marie. Not an ugly name, but it goes well with pretty much any name so gets overused.

  19. Sorry, but I'da been pissed if my name had been Mabel.

  20. I read that Scout was named for Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird. Did they realize that Scout was a nickname and her given name was Jean Louise? Because no one would name their kid Scout.
    I think Tallulah is pretty.

Only girls... sounds like this isn't as good? WTF.

  22. My foster parents gave birth to five girls and then they finally had a boy, so I can sympathize with Bruce.

  23. @Melinda9 - I considered naming my daughter Scout. Not Jean Louise. I DID know that it's a nickname, and I even had the idea before Demi and Bruce did. Granted, I was a kid, but I loved TKAM and I still do. Just sayin'.

And yes, all three of the Willis girls are just plain unattractive. It's very odd, given that both of their parents are fairly attractive at the very least. Genetics are weird, man.

  24. Great...he'll be 75 by the time this kid graduates high school.

  25. The 3 girls all got Bruce's disproportionately large head...and on a girl, his big ol melon just looks odd.

  26. I hope this one is cute. And happy.

  27. I have a soft spot for the name Mabel from "The Pirate Movie" lol.
    True story.

  28. It's a good thing he isn't a king, so all the exes don't have to be separated from their heads!

  29. Yeah, personally I would take the names Scout and Rumer over Talulah and Mabel, but obviously Im in the minority.

Rumer is for Rumer Godden, the author, whom I love, so that one has never bothered me. Scout, on the other hand... And Mabel is just an ugly name. Sorry if any of you are named Mabel, but I would not saddle a kid with that name.

  32. I've always wondered if they took Tallulah from Tallulah Gorge in GA...it's a famous gorge some crazy guy tightrope walked over. And Tallulah Falls is one of those places folks rode over the falls in barrels at. Country folk know how to have fun. :)

Have always loved Scout, but I love TKAM. And she was the cutest.

BTW - did anyone catch the "keeps trying to have a boy"?! Was that an allusion to the Willis-Bieber rumor? Or have I been on trash sites too much?

  33. I don't mind any of the girls' names--the first 3 are offbeat, yes, but not completely freaky (I remember reading a couple of Rumer Godden kids' books back in the day, so I recognized the name). I have noticed a tendency over the last 20-30 years for a lot of parents to go for names that years ago would have been considered dowdy old folks' names that your grandma or grandpa might have had, which just shows how cyclical the whole naming business is. (It's really quite fascinating to read about.) Anyway, congratulations on the new baby, and hope everyone is doing well!

  34. Ray or Rae? "Mabel Rae Willis." Sounds like a waitress at the Waffle House. "Mabel Rae, order up!"

  35. I was joking about April Fool babies with the hubs. Can you imagine calling your husband and saying, "I'm in labor right now!" He jokes back, "I'm not falling for that one."

  36. @ AKM - But you didn't name your daughter Scout I notice. Just sayin'.

  37. Who cares how old he'll be when she does xyz? Bruce Willis still does half his own stunts and is better cut than most men at 20. He takes care of himself, eats well, and has never let himself go. Nevermind if God forbid something does happen, he's got more money than God and she'll be well taken care of. If the man wants to have a child at 57, who better than him? It's not that old.

  38. Mabel.

    M Mothers
    A always
    B bring
    E extra
    L love.

That's why Mad About You watchers have a soft spot for the name.

  39. I still rather have Bruce Willis having a kid at 57 then Octomom having a litter and California paying. At least he can afford his kids.
