Brandy was on Behind The Music last night. I was hoping for some huge revelation like Ray J and Whitney Houston were doing drugs together the day Whitney died. You know, something juicy. Instead the juicy was just that Brandy had an eating disorder when she was younger but that she is completely cured now. "I wanted to be thin. That was my main thing. So I started not taking care of myself -- not eating properly, not eating at all, diet pills, regurgitating, all all of these things that girls do." She also said she had all the money in the world. In fact, she called herself omnipresent. I guess she loves herself a lot to call herself that. I'm not sure I have ever heard someone call themselves omnipresent. "How are you today?" "I'm so damn good that I'm omnipresent." Yeah, it doesn't really flow off the tongue. I wonder if she was pressured to lose weight or just gave herself pressure to lose weight.
Brandy talked about her fatal car accident, but didn't add anything no one doesn't already know. She did say that she does not like to be called a murderer because a murderer plans a killing. Not so. First degree murder is usually planning, but not second degree murder. Still though, I understand what she means.
I think I have an eating disorder too, but a little different. I WANT to be thin, but I like to eat and do.
ReplyDeleteI have always liked Brandy. She is so talented and beautiful! I watched the show and i think that she was honest about the bumps in her life. Brandy feels terrible about the accident and i dont blame her for not wanting to be called a murderer. It really is ashamed what happened. She also admitted that she was wrong for lying about being married to her baby daddy. Im not saying she was right to lie but i understand why. At least she never had to deal with drug and alcohol abuse so maybe she dodge that bullet. It was very touching when she spoke about Whitney, u could tell she really idolized her. Still cant stand her brother though.
ReplyDeleteSpoke with B's mother (who was B's manager and authorized acct mgr) re: out of pattern charges on B's card. Lo and behold, it was the -ians using the card.
ReplyDeleteShort version - One of the K's was B's stylist, used B's card and passed along her cc info to her sisters, who used B's card at their own store. Est + 100K !!
How it works, the -ians as a merchant are then paid for the fake purchase by the CC co and the CC co is then paid by Brandi. NO MERCH IS ACTUALLY PURCHASED BY THE -IANS.
The -ians merchant acct then gets falsely paid.
I investigated the charges because they were odd, contacted B's mother and all hell broke loose. I believe it was eventually settled out of court. I know the -ians merchant account was debited back so they did not benefit. Good for B's mother. The -ians are thieves.
Holy shit. I always thought they were vapid idiots, but I didn't think they manipulative evil thieves.
DeleteThat's not inside information. It's public knowledge that Kim Kardashian was the stylist and had the mothers Amex card and put on $100k in unanswered charges and the court ordered her to pay it back. C'mon now.
DeleteYeah, that came out about 5 years ago........
ReplyDeleteOmnipresent? She had what? Two songs. Even Madonna has never called herself that (I think).
ReplyDeleteRegurgitate? Noooooo, that's what cows do. It's called "barfing."
ReplyDeleteGreat story Agent**It. Heard something like that awhile ago but didn't know the specs. The Kartrashians are trash.
I loved Whitney and Brandi in Cinderella. I've seen it a jillion times.
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean Brandy is watching me right now? Because my coffee break is totally over.

ReplyDeleteShe can read your lips, Maja.
ReplyDelete@Maja, HAHAHA! Yes, "omnipresent" does make it sound like she thinks of herself as, um, godlike. Goddesslike? Um, yeah.
ReplyDeleteteehee, maja!
ReplyDeletei have nothing against brandy, but seriously...i can't help but wonder if uneducated celebs get exactly how stupid they sound when they speak out their ass. *headdesk*
Hopefully she means it from a zen perspective, that she is omnipresent in the present. If not, it was obviously a malapropism.
ReplyDeleteAudrey, I don't think she is that deep.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that happened to be the 'word of the day' on her little calander on her desk when she did this interview?
First off, no woman just "gives themselves pressure" to lose weight.
ReplyDeleteThat would negate the extreme overemphasis on women having to look a certain way in order to gain value in our patriarchal culture.
Second, I love you Maja ; )
It's all fucked up....when you compare her life to a normal one....prayers for her.
ReplyDelete@whocaresnow12 - yes, it is public knowledge but you were not the one who actually worked the case and discovered the charge pattern and had the pleasure of stopping it.
ReplyDeleteYou don't know who I am and if I did or did not have any involvement in the situation. Just like you can claim to have worked the case. But you didn't offer a bit of information that wasn't already public knowledge except that you spoke to Bran
DeleteI think she meant "omnipotent." She's talking about how she had all the money in the world, so "omnipotent" would fit. Omnipresent, not so much.
ReplyDeleteI did not speak with 'Bran', spoke with her mother who was her manager. I do not need to offer you any proof. I lived it and and many other financial adventures of the stupid and famous:)
ReplyDeleteDid she also talk about how she lied to everyone and said she was married when she got pregnant?
ReplyDeletewhat was on the note that whitney handed her handled
ReplyDeleteAgent...I love the juicy tidbits you have posted. ;)
