Woman Loses Her Legs To Save The Life Of Her Kids

You read bout so many parents who do such awful things to their kids, but Stephanie Decker threw herself over her two children to save them from the Indian tornadoes and they ended up not being hurt at all. Stephanie though lost both of her legs as her house was ripped off the ground in the deadly storms. Amazing.

  4. We got 5 inches of snow last night, so now on top of the tornado destruction, there is a layer of snow. When it rains it pours...

  5. Wow. What an amazing woman. These are the stories that are amazing, as opposed to the horrible stories about parents harming their children.

  7. It's sad we have to hear about something tragic to restore our faith in loving parents. I applaud her and wish her and her family many long happy days together and that she recovers as well as can be expected.

  11. Bless her and her family. It took courage and strength to do what she for the sake of her children. My heart breaks for all the victims of those tornadoes and their families.

  16. This happened 15 miles north of me. It is devastating. I have never been to ground zero, but this personally is the most tragic thing I have seen with my own eyes.

  17. Blessings to her and her family. My daughter lives close to that area, but thankfully she was far enough away. She heard the sirens that night and she and my Muffin spent part of the night in the bathtub -- I was flipping out. It's so early for this kind of weather, I shudder to think what's ahead this year.

I think Misch is right. And Princess, please do let us know how we can help.

  18. I'm still heartbroken that that baby they found died. I can't even imagine what it's like for the grandparents losing their kid and three grandkids all at once.

  20. If any of you need help, please let us know. I fairly certain we can collectively help if you let us and tell us what is needed.

PS: ONTD broke down Himmm's comments and created a 36 page document of who he is and the validity of the blinds. I will try to get it if anyone wants to see it. From what I have read, ONTD commenters did some major homework.
