Tamra Barney's Engagement Is Made For TV
Gretchen Rossi told TMZ that Tamra Barney's engagement is made for television and is a sham. The thing is they are engaged and living together so obviously they are treating it as real. Just because producers paid for the ring and paid for the trip to do the proposal does not make the engagement a sham, it just means that the OC Housewives are so boring that the producers are having to shell out bucks to make up storylines. Gretchen says that Slade was offered the same deal but he refused. Probably because Gretchen is never going to marry Slade and prefers him as her employee who she can dump if she ever finds someone younger and hotter.
I'm sorry, WHAT? Bravo bought them an engagement ring??
ReplyDeleteI know all those Housewives shows started out as "aspirational," but if Andy Cohen & Co. think that anyone in America aspires to be like the Housewives these days -- flipping tables, going bankrupt, throwing drinks in faces, acting like nincompoops -- they're drinking too much Koolaid.
What's wrong with a nice, simple ring that a paralegal like Eddie could actually afford? Would that somehow be less enjoyable?
I wish I didn't care about any of this. What nonsense.
I think you meant that Gretchen would find someone older, richer and sicker.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea who this is....... :\
ReplyDeleteI don't know who this is either. Honestly...reality people are talentless, attention whores who obviously have a hole in their heart and need it to be filled with attention anywhere they can get it. So sad.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been watching it this season until I caught a couple of episodes yesterday.
ReplyDeleteTamra's boyfriend has always given me the creeps and I never thought it was a real relationship.
These women all look horrible this year. That episode I saw yesterday with them all dressed up in costumes looked like a reprisal of Night of the Living Dead.
The Vicki/Tamra vs. Gretchen/Slade feud is getting old, even for me. I just read somewhere that Slade was begging for the same deal that Eddie got, but Bravo said no.
ReplyDeleteThese bitches are whack. Their antics in the press exhaust me.
I don't care about any of the Housewives, Teen Moms, Jersey shows, tattoo shows, etc. What a bunch of shallow, boring, losers.
ReplyDeleteThe bath tub show was pretty good.
ReplyDeleteGretchen, people in glass houses....
ReplyDeleteGretchen is so full of shit. The real story came out weeks ago: Slade went to Bravo and asked them for the same deal - a ring and a trip - and Bravo said "no thanks," so now Gretchen is spinning it to make them sound better.
ReplyDeleteI do have to admit the show is asperational, I aspire to be as unlike these idiots as possible. The trouble is after two episodes I'd seen enough to keep me fueled in my life choices and I never watched it again.
