Real Housewives - New York Cast Goes On Strike
Hello Real Housewives New York cast. You are on strike? Seriously? By the way, seriously is the new really which is the new not. LuAnn, Sonja and Ramona complained that shooting was taking too long so refused to do any shooting at Fashion Week. Umm, you do know that it is not like you are skilled labor. Do you know how many Housewives in New York would be better than you? There are probably several million housewives in New York who would enjoy making 5 figures a week for doing nothing. Oh, and if you don't think there are three out of millions that are more interesting than you, then that is your problem.
I hate those shows, but let me get this straight.
ReplyDeletethese are woman who don't work, but live off of their husbands money? and now, they don't want to even be filmed not working, which is the only income they would have other than being supported?
maybe the real housewives should unionize. get the teamsters to support them. ups. every union worker in solidarity w/these poor women who have to put up w/so much!
ladies, I believe it is 14 minutes and counting. tic toc.
Annabella - Some of the ladies do work. For example Ramona is self made and successful in her own right. Others definitely mooch off the wealth of their families/husbands.
ReplyDeleteAs a fan of these shows, I never understand why reality "stars" forget that their time in the spotlight is limited. Have they not seen what happened to Paris Hilton's career? If it were me, I'd milk it for all it's worth and save every penny for the rainy days that are sure to come! :)
I say cut them all and replace them. The NY cast is very unlikeable.
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%. RHONY hasn't been bearable since Bethany left.
DeleteIt angers me that these spoiled, entitled cows aren't even actual housewives. Disgusting.
ReplyDeleteThere are tons of REAL, hardworking, struggling to makes ends meet housewives who would LOVE to make that kind of money.
Fashion Week's a big social and business deal here. Get in a taxi and the driver'll give you the rundown on that morning's shows in the tents. These girls don't like it? They should go back to New Jersey.
ReplyDeleteBoo freaking hoo.
ReplyDeleteWeirdly enough, another source says that, while Lohan was making her “SNL” comeback on live television, an even bigger drama was taking place backstage.
ReplyDeleteWhile LiLo’s mom, Dina Lohan, and her friend Jill Zarin watched a portion of the show from “SNL” executive producer Lorne Michaels ’ office, a source says Zarin noticed that the massive main gemstone from her $19K Zohrab Istanboulian -designed ring was missing.
Zarin’s husband, Bobby, bought her the bauble from the Elizabeth Taylor Estate Auction in December.
According to our source, when the former “Real” housewife realized the stone was gone, “she started panicking so loudly that people outside the office could hear.”
A frantic search ensued and, our source says, an “SNL” producer eventually found the gem on a set of stairs leading to one of the show’s soundstages.
Later that night, a much calmer Zarin and Dina joined Lindsay and the “SNL” cast at Kibo restaurant in Gramercy for the show’s after-party.

All these housewives shows are my guilty pleasure, but I stopped watching these boring hags ages ago. Andy should get rid of them all from new York.
ReplyDeleteMoney can't buy your class.
ReplyDeleteThey all should burn. They live off their husbands and don't have to work...ever. There are people out there who would kill for any job and any income...and these snotty rich, ungrateful biatches are going on strike. BURN!!!
ReplyDeleteWino, FTW!
ReplyDeleteSend the camera crews to me! I'm a housewife, in the truest sense of the word. I would probobly work a lot cheaper too.
ReplyDeleteThey are mistaken in that they believe that they are stars. They are no more stars than the folks who participate on Survivor or Top Chef. They are given a short window of opportunity and they need to grab it, be grateful and STFU.
ReplyDeleteFire all of them and start over with another set of "real" housewives!!
ReplyDeleteIt pains me to think that Ramoner is "self made and successful in her own right."
ReplyDeleteJill Zarin being friends with Dina Lohan explains...a lot.
They should just re-cast, at this point.
i wouldnt watch a show about "real" real housewives...no escapism in that.
ReplyDeleteActually, money can't buy you cla-a-ass. Elegance is learned, my friends!
