Life & Style is reporting that Owen Wilson is dating Karina Smirnoff. She must have died when he asked her out. She just keeps moving up that celebrity ladder and discarding the souls of each as she moves on. Can you tell I don't like Karina very much? She is the female Derek Hough. I would say the female version of Derek Hough is Julianne Hough, but she has her talons firmly clenched in the pastiness of Ryan Seacrest's arms so she is not doing any damage right now. All you have to do is step back and look at their dating progression. Karina went from Maks who was just about a nobody at the time they started dating to MLB pitcher Brad Penny who made more money and was not quite a has been when they started dating and now Owen Wilson. Derek went from no name women to the one step above no name Shannon Elizabeth to hitting the big time in Cheryl Cole, but it was too soon and he came on too strong and when he went on the trip with her where she caught malaria he kind of blew it so now he is back to middle ground and won't make the same mistakes the next time he gets a shot at the big time.
This is not good news. I hope Owen realizes very quickly the type of person she is & shows her the door.

According to Life & Style, after calling off her engagement to Detroit Tigers pitcher Brad Penny, the Dancing With the Stars vixen has started going out with Owen Wilson and a romance is heating up between them. The report doesn't sound too far off considering the actor recently split with baby mama Jade Duell.

A source close to Karina tells E! News that the dancer is not dating Owen.
"There is nothing there," says the insider. "They ran into each other once randomly. They are friends but not dating at all."
Glad we could put that one to rest.
Before dropping Penny like he was hot, the 34-year-old Smirnoff had previously been engaged to her fellow DWTS hoofer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The 43-year-old Wilson meanwhile broke things off with Duell in June five months after she gave birth to their son, Robert Ford.
