One More Season Of Teen Mom 1
MTV has decided to air one more season of Teen Mom 1. With Amber Portwood unable to film much and most of the others about as exciting as eating only oatmeal for 30 straight days, the next season will be the last for Teen Mom 1. What that means is they will all have to go and get real jobs, something for which none look prepared. They don't really ever work except when the show wants them looking real, and judging by how clueless most of them are, this does not bode well for their future. Most of them are just getting to that age where they can host parties at clubs, but I don't think anyone is going to get too pumped to spend Tuesday night with Catelynn from Teen Mom. Buy one get one free shots. Free cover if you have slept with your step-brother. Free drinks if he got you pregnant.
Hahahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteAt least the step-siblings had the sense to put their kid up for adoption.
I hope they saved that money! They're going to need it.

ReplyDeletesadly i think the next waves of kids are going to be even worse since they learned from Teen Mom 1 the worse you are the better pay day you get.
ReplyDeleteWhen Mtv drops you they drop you hard. And those kids will learn how fast that money goes.
The girls from season 3 of 16&Pregnant have gone to jail, had second pregnancies, and other stuff I'm forgetting. They probably thought that would better their chances of getting onto Teen Mom, but MTV doesn't want anything to do with them now.
Delete@Timebob ... agreed. this entire show was a bad, bad idea from the beginning.
ReplyDeleteI'm sticking with my old idea. Instead of getting tons of money, their payment should be slight, and the rest of it put in a college fund for their kids.
ReplyDeleteWould still prefer that the show didn't exist, though.
good idea, EmEyeKay
ReplyDeleteStep siblings...what?! And here I was hooked on Jenelle and Keeeee-fur
ReplyDeleteAnd we wonder why kids go off the rails.
ReplyDeleteWith role models in their age group like this bunch.
ac- they were dating, her mom and his dad started dating and later got married. so they were a couple before they became step siblings.
ReplyDeleteEmEyeKay, I would say money and job training for these parents. The likelihood of their kids actually going to college is not that high unfortunately. More often than not the cycle repeats itself.
ReplyDeleteFor many girls in this level of society being an unwed teen mom is a career choice. There'll be welfare & living off the taxpayer. This show reinforces that & raises the expectation that they too could be reality "stars". Just think when the Republicans get in & ban The Pill & abortion, there'll be thousands of babies & ehough casting for the next 100 seasons.
ReplyDeleteThis show makes me so sad.
ReplyDelete@TheDalyLMO - you just really depressed me with that last part.
@Daily I give the Republicants 2 yrs on that plan until their precious young'uns start getting pregnant and that shit will be redacted so fast it will make your head spin. And yeah Em, college for the mothers themselves wouldn't be bad either. They're obviously in need of education.
ReplyDeleteThe politicians who are trying to restrict access to reproductive health and birth control should be forced to watch every Teen Mom episode three times.
ReplyDeleteYesyesyesyesyes. I agree, Barton Fink (in case you couldn't tell).
DeleteMy fave Farrah..who dates like 4 different guys per episode...lol
