I'm always fascinated by people who've lived to be that old...maybe it's the history geek in me, but think of all the changes he's seen in his life! To go from the beginning of automobiles and airplanes to iPads must've been a hell of a ride. And to have seen things like suffrage and the civil rights movement change society...things aren't perfect now but they're a heck of a lot better than they used to be. I bet he has interesting stories to tell.
@wenx - so true! My grandparents are the same generation and lived into their 90s. The had the best stories about life. Surviving the Depression, growing up without running water in the house, etc. But taught me the value of hard work, good morals, and the love of family.
Birthday's used to be a day to celebrate for the TWEENER! Until, her father (a swash-buckeling stage dad who was really only trying to re-live his high-school theatre day's) (MORE ABOUT THAT LATER) started to become obsessed with steam room's. Simply put, to fund his steam room obsession he would schedule lunch date's with very old Hollywood movie agent's, who were one foot in the grave,(let's be honest here) as her grand-father on her birthday. As this Tweener started to get older which was really only in a 3 year time because she was a washed up coke whore after 18 but, Daddy didn't mind. As long as he got his steam room's in each and every room in his house. That is all he cared about.Sooner or later the TWEENER began to pretend that these oldie's were really her Grandfather. Until she happened to walk in on her father and one of the old Hollywood movie agent's in THE STEAM ROOM! She then tried to find the nearest sink to wash out what mess her eye's just saw. The Dad and The Oldie broke into the bathroom and basically put a beat-down that our TWEENER still has scar's from. See, bruises heal in like..3 day's. Not scar's. So,The Tweener decider to change her name and become a Pop Star instead. She has only had one hit that was actually only on the movie she last did. SO, I guess she really isn't a Pop Star but, DONT tell our Tweener that. She like's to Tweet her love making session's and enjoy's really rough sex in steam room's. GO FIGURE!
Hahaha, this is awesome. I'm also joining anita_mark's club. Or maybe I'll just start now saying whatever the hell I want and people CAN just call me a bitch. Heheheheh.
And that attempted BI hurt my eyes. I'm not even sure what the story is.
Happy Birthday, Mr. U!
ReplyDeleteLooking good...
Awesome Happy Bday Mr Universe! So he was 40 when he won the title! There's still hope for me :)

ReplyDeleteMy husbands Grandmother lived to 101 almost 102. She rode in covered wagons and jet planes, what a life!
Fuck yeah!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to be that old (God willing). Then I can say whatever the hell I want and people will just laugh instead of calling me a bitch.
aaawwwww! He's so adorable!
ReplyDelete@wenx, I agree. Well said.
ReplyDeleteMore smiles! I love cute old men. Happy Birthday!

ReplyDeleteAwwww I hope he has many more birthdays! He's looking pretty good!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome.
ReplyDeletewherever that BI came from, they need to know the difference between plurals, and contractions.
ReplyDeleteSteam Room's? (for example)
aaaargh.
I'm not reading them, one big-ass paragraph is not something I want to look at.
ReplyDeleteI second wenx's emotion. Also a history geek, and love to think about the changes one would experience in 100 years - especially the last 100 years!
ReplyDeleteUncle Monty? Unky, is that you? Stop showing off ya big stud and go home!
ReplyDeleteAnd he made it to 100 without losing his marbles. Not everyone is that lucky.
