I'm not sure why anyone would let their kids anywhere near Michael Madsen. The guy is self-destruction at its absolute best and his episodes and rantings and destruction have intensified over the past few years. According to TMZ, Madsen was arrested yesterday after police came to his house and saw marks on his minor child. Apparently they had got into a fight and Michael was not above actually hitting his kid. Michael was also drunk. Michael's attorney said that Michael was upset because he found his son smoking pot. Michael was probably more upset that his son did not share it with him or took it from Michael in the first place. Madsen was released from jail early this morning.

I thought it was Mickey Rourke at first. Michael used to be so handsome. What a waste of looks and talent.
A police officer actually told me I should hit my kid (who's 17 and a minor) when I caught him smoking pot.

ReplyDeleteSorry but if the child was over 15 I am waiting to hear more. I have a neighbor who's kid is big as he is and hell on wheels and only 14. I am not for a minute saying you should hit your kid, but....it's hard to know from a blip of a headline.

ReplyDeleteI think most of Michael's sons are well into their teens. So it is not like he was hitting a child. Didn't your father whoop your ass when he caught you with weed? I just assumed that everyone's did. I have no idea why the cops were involved.
ReplyDeleteOn the weekend I was listening to the commentary track on the Species DVD. He was always referencing his 8 year old son visiting the set. I knew he had a drinking issue but last night I went to bed thinking he was at least an involved parent and then I wake up this morning to this!
