Lea Michele Says She Has 14 Tattoos

Lea Michele was interviewed for some magazine in Hong Kong and told them she has 14 tattoos. Apparently she is always getting new ink, but they must be the smallest tattoos ever and in some very strategic places because she has been down to a bikini before and the only one I can ever remember is one poking up above her bikini line and one under her left breast so the other 12 must be in some very interesting places. The fact she has 14 tattoos makes me dislike her a little bit less.

  1. It makes me like her much less. Ewww. If you're going to have so many tattoos, then at least *own* it.

  2. There's something very funny about that title, "Glee Girl Goes Glam." hee hee

And, a sparkly Spanx is glam?

Yeah but as an actress, it's just smart to have them small and hidden. Megan Fox is removing hers because she realized it was affecting opportunities (well, one of the reasons).

Really, what kind of roles could she get if she had a sleeve?

  4. I have six tattoos that are strategically placed. They are not small, but I don't wear string bikinis either. I bet she has a few on her back. Maybe she has ink dots and people mistake them for freckles?

  5. Megan Fox had ugly tats! She should have paid the money to get good ones in better places. She was just a dolt. I'm always shocked at how cheap celebs are with their ink.

  6. Danielle, I call that "smugly". It's even on Urban Dictionary! (I have 3 pages of words, if anyone is interested. lol)

  7. I noticed several of them when her last bikini pics were posted. There's even one on her wrist that I'm surprised is not noticeable on the show.

  8. PSL, that's the PERFECT word for this bitch.

Figgy, I think I would have preferred "Smugly Skank Shows off Sparkly Spanx".

  9. nice for her (honestly who cares?)

  10. It looks like many of them are in places that will stretch over the years then. Not a great strategic move.

I always wondered about people putting them on their breasts, butts etc. I knew someone who had a hummingbird done on her breast and by now that thing probably looks like a teradactyl as she like most of us gained some weight over the years.

To each their own. Personally I just don't think tats age well. If it's your preference to have them they look better on fresh young skin. Good luck trying to keep that forever.

  11. That's funny Lurky Loo, ITA, there's going to be some really awful tattoos in 20 years.

  12. JJ, I bet the one on her wrist gets covered up with make-up for the show.

  13. Well...aren't you too cool for school Lea. I really don't care if this chick has 100 tattoos. Stop looking for attention.

  14. Lurky Loo - that's one thing my mother always reminded me of whenever I would talk about getting a tattoo. I did finally get an ankle wrap. Figure even if I do end up with my great-grandmother's ankles, it won't be THAT stretched out!

  15. She's so disciplined, this is a way to show her "wild side" without going to far. Her tats must be tiny. Can't hate on her for that, though. I can't imagine all the time she's put in to hone her craft. I really dig her voice.

  16. I can't with her, I just can't. How many tattoos you have has become the female version of a pissing contest.

  17. her having tatoos makes me like her even less, but not as much less as if I had to look at them. To me tattoos seem as tacky as permanent make-up. You're not meant to look that way, and it doesn't make you "different"... just different the same way lots of others are. Why not try to make a difference instead of just looking different?

  18. they are small, one is a musical note, can't remember what the others are. One on each wrist I think, one on a shoulder, back of her neck up by her hairline, I think. I can't remember, but this was mentioned when the show first started. Small ones like hers can easily be covered with makeup and airbrushed out of photos.

    That phot is not flattering.

  19. That's ok, Jennifer, I didn't get my tattoos for you, so you're entitled to your opinion. I also didn't get them to be "different", and as a teacher I hope I make a difference.

We're not "meant" to have them - are we "meant" to wear makeup, get hair extensions, wear push-up bras - ? People have been tattooing themselves for literally tens of thousands of years. Otzi the iceman had tattoos. Don't assume you understand why someone else has chosen to get one.

  20. I thought she was very steeped in her religion. Isn't it against the Jewish faith to get tattooed? Or is that only for Orthodox Jews?

  22. Mango, my aunt (who is jewish) has an unfortunate tattoo of a mushroom on her lower belly (she says it's her memento from surviving the 70's lololol). Anyway, as long as you get em removed before you're buried, it shouldnt matter.
And those are for orthodox jewish cemetery's. I think reform is prolly more lenient.

    I totally agree with you!

  25. My Jewish ass has 3 tattoos, but then again Jewish law forbids many things that I do/have done. My people are not keen on premarital sex and using the internet on Saturdays either, and I do that shit all the time! I don't think she's particularly observant, and I'm fairly certain that at least a few commenters here probably occasionally do things which are contrary to their faith, too.

  26. I have two tattoos and I didn't get my first one until I was in my 40s. My daughter and I have matching Chinese dragons in the same place, and I have the comedy/tragedy masks for my Momma. I didn't get them because it was trendy -- they both are very emotionally significant.

To me, tats are not a fashion accessory, but to each their own.

  27. Damn, I swear that's at least the 3rd time I've seen that particular Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit featured in a magazine--the Zooey wore it in her Allure cover story, someone else (Eva Mendes?) wore it on the cover of either Glamour or Marie Claire, and now Lea. It's very sparkly & pretty, but I have to say Zooey wore it better than Lea's doing, & w/more of a sense of humor... :-)

  28. She is only 1/2 Jewish. Maybe the other 1/2 has the tattoos. Her mother is Italian American and Roman Catholic, while her father is a Spanish-Sephardic Jew.
It is also a myth about not being able to be buried in a Jewish cemetery.
