Kirsten Dunst Only Travels In Elevators Alone - No Commoners Allowed

Kirsten Dunst had a decent year last year, but she is not A list. She is a nice B list actress and she can have some diva behaviors but what she displayed the other night should not be allowed. According to the NY Post, Kirsten was at Chateau Marmont for a big party featuring celebrities bigger than her, but when she rode the elevator she had security block it so no one could ride up or down the elevator with her. Guests were informed that Ms. Dunst was using the elevator so they would have to wait. Well those are some guests who probably will never buy a movie ticket for Kirsten Dunst again. This is like Mariah diva stuff, not an actress who could lose out on a role to 100 women who look just like her and are as good.

  1. Security should have said NO.

  3. Maybe she had really bad gas and didn't want to inconveinance the other people.

  5. That shit wouldn't fly in NYC just ask Natalie Portman.

  6. Deep, I swear I had the exact same thought, lol

  7. She's missing out. I've had some hilarious elevator conversations with total strangers.

  8. I smell a phobia in this one.

Has she had a stalker before, maybe?

  9. That stuff might have been cool in the studio system days in order to attract buzz, but now it's just rude. If she had a legitimate safety concern, then she should have had security ride up with her.

  10. Eh, I'm sure it's not exactly diva behavior.

  11. no excuse for the diva behavior.

however, I consider that kirsten dunst is the best american actress. there just are not 100 other actresses who are just as good as she. most american films are cartoonish trash and don't require any real acting. so, she has alot of competition for those roles because they don't need a real actress to do them.

but she was amazing in 'all good things,' w/ryan gosling which did require actual acting. and I hear that she was great in melancholia as well.

  12. I agree with Selenakyle on this one. Maybe she had a horrible experience in the past related to elevators... stalker, panic attack, etc and she does this to keep mentally stable. Maybe she's developed claustrophobia and has to do elevator trips with a certain routine to be able to handle them? ... Or, maybe she was drunk and was didn't want others to see her retch in the elevator if it came to that.

  13. This sounds diva-ish for sure, but does she have a phobia?

I have a few friends who will not ride in an elevator with more than two people because of this.

Btw, what's up with her fact in this pic? She's look rather refreshed.

  14. I refuse to get in an elevator after the time I got off at the wrong floor in a London hotel. I was about ten years old and thought I would never see my parents again. Since then I either walk up the stairs or go on the moving staircase. No lifts for me since then.

  15. OK. First of all...Kirsten Dunst isn't anything great to look at. She's not that popular of an actress and people don't care about her. Now if she were Angelina or Jen Aniston...I could see them wanting to ride up alone, so as not to be stared at or bombarded. But Kirsten...oh please. Sit your @ss down and get over yourself. Dork.

I'm willing to give her this one. She strikes me as someone who is uncomfortable around people...sounds weird I know for an actress and I don't want to make an excuse for her - but let's see if the behavior continues.

Maybe she's just afraid of riding in a tiny closed room with strangers? Like maybe "don't take candy from strangers" gone too far? I can understand it to some extent. I always enjoyed elevators though, I've ridden with the mayor, the sheriff, and once with a whole herd of firefighters who were touring the building to become familiar with it (immediately after 9/11) - you could almost smell the testosterone! One of my good memories!

  20. So what if she has the phobia? Take the stairs. Do you think anyone else could pull this crap and get away with it?

annabella, I respect your opinion and think KD is a good actress but she is no where near the best American actress.

  21. Take the stairs with your body guards if you have an issue riding an elevator with others.

  22. I didn't think the NY Post was such a reliable source. Kirsten is not into the diva thing. She's the type of person to take the stairs instead.

  23. Guests were told by whom? The police? This gal needs a reality check. I wouldn't know who she was if she slapped me.

  24. She has alot of nerve, and no, this shit wld NOT fly in NYC, the people wld just say"f you" and get in! Lol. I remember streisand was filming in ny, and peoples houses were blocked, because steisand didnt want anyone to see her. The guy was like, I dont gv a shit about her, I want to go home! Let her film elsewhere!!". Anyway , unless sny real reason, this is just my-shit-doesnt-stink behavoir. Shes pretty unlikable anyway;this sure doesnt help!

  25. I'm surprised by this one. I saw her on the beach a week or so ago and she seemed really nice. We were both trying to get through the same gate and she let me go first and smiled and said hi.

  26. She is probably uncomfortable in elevators. Many people are.

  27. I really want to know when the memo came out that everyone is supposed to hate this girl. This has been going on for years and unless I see a video of her being an asshole, I refuse to believe it. From what I sense, KD is fairly down to earth and not to caught up in the celebrity thing. She did good with Melancholia, but she must be aware that this will not be a blockbuster, so I just don't see the diva behaviour here. And doesn't she have a stalker? That alone would never make me get into an elevator without some protection. This story is either fabricated, or completely exaggerated.

  29. Yet another chapter in the "Bitch, please" book...

  30. Uh, so the behavior was a bit over the top, but that doesn't take away the fact that she is a good actress.

Of all the actresses in her age bracket who have played leading roles, she is the best in my opinion. Very natural and very talented.

All those other young adult actresses that get the more "prestige" roles, none can do what she does.

  31. I don't know, I sometimes get freaked out when other people get on an elevator with me and she has been the victim of a stalker.

    ReplyDelete
  32. IF this is true, it probably has something to do with her stalker! She has a restraining order against him, but, well, he's a stalker.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Lol Rose.

Meh, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she got her period unexpectedly and had blood on the back of her dress or pants. I would have loved security detail the few times that happened to me!

    ReplyDelete
  34. No one cares about Kirsten Dunst?

That's a rather bold statement that seems to be made on personal opinion rather than fact.

Security must have cared enough to let her ride the elevator by herself.

  35. I can understand this behaviour if Benicio Del Toro is around

    ReplyDelete
  36. She might not have been in A list projects last year, but according to the old Enty rules, Oscar=permanent A list. Changing it up, New Enty?

  37. Proof that heavy smoking and drinking does wonders for one's skin!

  38. I don't see anything wrong with this. Maybe she has a stalker? Maybe she's claustrophobic AND has a stalker? Wasn't there an actress in the 1980's who was attacked in an elevator, had all her clothes ripped off by some freak? Tracy Scoggins? (She was "Kat" on "Lois and Clark.")

I'll bet a lot of famous people don't just get on an elevator with anybody.
