After complaining she has the habit of never getting a second date, Kelly Clarkson has finally found someone to go out with more than once. Last week, Kelly told a radio station that she has a new boyfriend but would not reveal who the guy was. Now we know. Apparently it is Reba McEntire's step son, Brandon Blackstock. Reba and Narvel have been married for so long that I forgot they each had been married before but now remember it was kind of a scandal when they got married. Anyway, Kelly is amazing and I hope this works out for her.
Kelly seems close to Reba and the family so this seems like it coul be a good match.

ReplyDelete@Robert - nothing scandalous, just that I worked a fair she was coming to play at back in 91', she refused to get out of her trailer until time to sing, wouldn't speak to anyone other than "her people" and was generally a rude person. Granted it was a tiny podunk town, but she could have tried. Willie Nelson also played there, he was the exact opposite of her. Darling man who went downtown to eat every night, signed autographes and was generally a sweetie pie.

ReplyDeleteI can't remember where I saw it but there was a New Years photo with Blake, his wife Miranda, Kelly, Adam Lavine and his girlfriend Anne V all drunk at their house in Oklahoma. It just struck me as so funny, and their friendship just seemed very genuine.

ReplyDeleteI have to say it is throwing me off a lot to see someone outside of her fanbase talk about her dating life at all. She just isn't that kind of celebrity who has ever put it out there and thus gives no one anything to talk about, you know? So it surprises me that anyone cares to report anything that contradicts the "she must be a lesbeeyun!!!" party line. Anyway, she seems really happy these days so I'm happy for her as well and hope this works out (or that if it doesn't, it ends on good terms). Esp. since he's related to her manager and they have the same circle of friends..it will be rather awkward for all parties involved if it doesn't, lol.

ReplyDeleteI used to like Kelly but she lost a lot of fans recently when she endorsed Ron Paul, especially because it was right after some really racist stuff came out about him. And I have thought for years that she is a lesbian but was afraid to come out seeing as how she lives in redneck Texas.
