I think Katy Perry might be on something. I don't think I have ever thought that before. She gets crazy drunk, but I think maybe Rihanna slipped her something magical from the islands or something because she has not been herself the past 24 hours. Yesterday she came out and trashed Beyonce's music. She said that when Katy & Rihanna's song comes it will be good, not like Beautiful Liar by Beyonce. Everyone knows Katy said it but she denies it ever happens. The crazy thing was when she denied it she did it on Twitter (above) and I don't know who wrote this, but it really does not seem like Katy. Maybe her new boyfriend wrote it or maybe she was high as a kite and this is the nasty Katy that only comes out on Halloween and when having sex with Russell Brand.
God, I miss the days when singers recoreded, toured, and then just disappeared for a while.

ReplyDeleteI agree this doesn't sound like a typical Katy tweet. It seems like she is trying to emulate her BFF, Rihanna. It's sad but I recognize this behavior, she acts just as I did when going thru my 2nd divorce two years ago. I was 27 then also. Hopefully she finds a good, SOBER support system to help her find herself again other than a girl that has the absolute dummest & most publicly offensive taste in relationships.

ReplyDeleteIt just occurred to me that "hacked" really means the star got drunk or high with people, people grabbed the phone, and did whatever -- tweeted, texted themselves the nude photos, loaded the video to an internet site, etc.

@Chrissy - Sorry to hear you went through all of that as well. I'm not so much a softy as I am just sad about this. I'll admit it, I love Katy's songs. They are usually upbeat and make me happy in a silly way. Other than that I think the girl is a sad, sad person & kind of obnoxious in interviews, etc. She probably also drove Russell away with some literal mental behavior.
