Over the weekend Josh Lucas got married. In the middle of the announcement of his marriage were the cries of "nooooooo" from women everywhere and the fact that his new wife is pregnant. The only information his people had about Josh's wife is that her name is Jessica. Way to get those details. So, basically it is a shotgun wedding. Do they even call them that anymore? I don't think they really even have them anymore because more people just have babies and don't even bother to get married. 40 years ago if you were a woman about to have a baby and were not married, you were shunned like Lindsay Lohan at a jewelry convention. Now, who really cares?
Does anyone watch The Firm? Is it any good?

ReplyDeleteI wonder how long they were together. The pregnancy could have just been the push they needed to get married. My parents were together for almost ten years before my mom got knocked up, they married and I was born 5 months later.

ReplyDeleteIt took two babies for my husband and I to decide to get married. I guess we are slow learners, lol. But, no, I am happy women aren't pressured to get married due to pregnancy anymore.

ReplyDeleteHe is pretty dreamy - love those blue eyes! I saw him on Jay Leno a few months ago when he explained a scary encounter with a mountain lion actually prompted him to propose so they have actually been engaged for a bit at least.

I haven't seen any interviews where he's full of himself or anything, but I DO like to look at him. Especially in SWEET HOME ALABAMA. That's one of the movies that I'm kind of embarrassed to admit is a guilty pleasure of mine.
