Jermaine Jackson And His Plastic Hair Had An Affair With Whitney Houston For A Year
Back in the day when Jermaine Jackson had less plasticity to his hair and Whitney Houston had not hit the crack, the pair had an affair for about a year while Jermaine was married. This was Jermaine's marriage to Hazel Gordy. The song Saving All My Love For You was written about the relationship. Huh. Hard to believe someone thought Jermaine was hot. It ended when he would not leave his wife. Do they ever leave their wives? Oh yeah, for 18 year old kids they taught in school.
I'm sorry - he was fine back in the day. I had a crush on him. He seemed so manly next to Michael.
ReplyDeleteBut Jermaine today - I don't even know where to begin. He may have had as much work done as his brother.
well at least we know her bad choices didn't just start with Bobby Brown.
ReplyDeleteLego man hair! Is that the wife that was also married to Randy Jackson? I remember one of the Jackson wives got passed around.
ReplyDeleteGROSS.
ReplyDelete@timebob - you crack me up! :)
ReplyDeleteJermaine came across as really nice in Celebrity Big Brother a couple of years ago (though Latoya was much much better), so I find it really skeevy that he would pull shit like this on his wife.
ReplyDeleteAccording to wiki:"Saving All My Love for You" is a song written by Michael Masser and Gerry Goffin with arrangement by Gene Page. It was originally a minor hit for Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. in 1978 on their album Marilyn & Billy (although Davis’ voice was not heard on their version).
ReplyDeleteWhitney's cover came out in 1985. I'm too lazy to double check wikipedia.
I seriously doubt Whitney got with Jermaine, but I gotta go with Nola, I had a major crush on him back in the day. "Let's Get Serious" was my song with one of the ex-husbands.
ReplyDeleteMost of the Jacksons are full of shit anyway.
Hey, what did everybody think about Lindsay on SNL? I thought she did a decent job. I've seen worse (I'm talking to you Robert DeNiro).
The real housewives sketch was cute and the opening was funny.
Rose, I'm glad you did that because that song was getting ready to be ruined for me for all time.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Robyn Crawford would say about that...
ReplyDeleteRose, you beat me to the punch.
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean Jermaine had an affair with Gerry Goffin.
Not sure this question is germane to our discussion. ;)
DeleteI immediately knew the part abt the song Savin all my love was B.S. Thanks for confirming it, Rose. Maybe, just maybe Whit could relate to the song... But I'm not convinced of that either.
ReplyDeleteWhitney looks shocking in that pic!
ReplyDeleteDidn't they do that song "If you say my eyes are beautiful" together? I remember loving that song. I was in the 7th grade.
ReplyDeleteDoes Jermaine Jackson always have to make money off the dead? He did this crap with his brother, Michael too. That song is not about him! Houston didn't write any of her own songs, which her family surely regrets.
ReplyDeletei believe also the song was a remade and according to Wikipedia also
ReplyDeleteYes @Rose, Saving All My Love for You was written when Whitney was just a tweener...Whitney did not write her own material...I don't even think she did what Barbra Streisand did or Madonna did - if a songwriter brings a song to either of them, they add or change something and add themselves as "songwriters" and take a cut of the publishing.
ReplyDeleteI would think Whitney Houston at least had the power by her second album to take a cut of the publishing even without a songwriting credit...I would be so surprised if her management did not insist on this...?
Jermaime is full of it if this came from him. No, no you didn't JJ. You're just trying to be relevant.Go rob a grave somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteThey were both on Arista at the time, and she was young and impressionable, so it's possible.
ReplyDeleteThey also sang a song called "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do" on her debut album.
ReplyDeleteWho knows if they got together? She was gorgeous, young and impressionable. He was a fucking JACKSON. I wouldn't have blamed her for being blinded by love for him.
But why talk about it now?
ReplyDelete@nettalovesrobin
ReplyDeleteSo Jermaine can be relevant again! He is like a vulture looking for something to eat off the carcass.
