Jennifer Love Hewitt Is New Spokesperson For eHarmony
If anyone could use some help with their dating life, it is probably Jennifer Love Hewitt. She always seems to pick the wrong guys, so maybe a dating site is what she needs. If she is going to do that, then she might as well get paid for it. So, eHarmony did just that. They are paying her and they are also setting her up. They found one guy and flew him to Los Angeles for a date. He says that she was bored, disinterested and was just doing it for the money. Hey, just like The Client List. I don't know if eHarmony really thought this thing through. Jennifer Love Hewitt is playing a hooker who dates guys for money and then will be advertising their services. Hmmm.
I have no words for this.
ReplyDeleteAs with most women I find very attractive I'd like to think of JLH as sweet and caring. However, if she really was bored and disinterested in the guy that was flown out to go on a date with her after having a magazine come out in which she says she never gets hit on. Man, that's pretty bitchy.
ReplyDeleteI always thought the people behind eHarmony were uber right-wing. I'm surprised they used someone who is currently playing a hooker.
ReplyDeleteI guess they should hire Jude Law for Ashley Madison!
ReplyDeleteI think they should set her up with Gerard Buttler. ;) They might have alot more in common than she thinks.
ReplyDeleteNothing against blind/edating but it gives me the shivers. Just so uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteeharmony. ugh.
ReplyDeleteIs this a joke ?
ReplyDeleteI am surprised she isn't endorsing Ashleymadison.com
ReplyDeleteShe is what Taylor Swift will be in 15 years. Disenchanted over never finding a fairy tale. Becuase it was never realistic in the first place.

ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteAaaah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haha!
I met my now husband on a now defunct dating site about 8 years ago. Eharmony started a little before we realized we were getting serious so I did put an ad on it, and met a couple of very nice guys. I'm not going to knock eharmony (or internet dating - I know quite a few people who met their spouse on internet dating, including my stepdaughter)
ReplyDeleteJLH on the other hand is an idiot.
To start, stop portraying yourself as some sort of loser no one wants to date or hit on. And this guy, the date, did he REALLY think this was it, hed found his soulmate with a movie star??? C'mon man , be real. If she was rude well then shame on her. This is textbook how NOT to meet life partner!!! Must everything be forced? Lets things infold naturally!!
ReplyDeleteWhat JLH needs is a man who is not in the "business". But she'll never never date anyone who won't further her career or get her tabloid covers. Until she stops dating for fame, she won't have a successful relationship.
ReplyDelete74 minutes later, and I'm STILL laughing!
ReplyDeleteBWAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhoops! Wet em!
@MsCool, I met my husband on a blind date. Been together 13 years, will have been married for 8 this June.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there is anything at all wrong with EDating as long as you don't have very high expectations, If the spark isn't there then at least hope that you have made a friend to go to a show with or meet for lunch.
ReplyDeleteWho was that old dude (looked like Mr. Furley/Don Knotts) who founded eharmony? What's the over/under on Jen-Love and that old guy releasing a sex tape?
ReplyDeleteHimmmm, I always thought he was more of a PBS/televangelist hybrid, rather than anything Don Knotts related. Bite your tongue!
ReplyDeleteHey, what did Don Knotts ever do to you to get picked on like that?...
ReplyDeleteI don't remember all the details, but I believe not only did eHarmony not allow LGBT ads/dating, but they also frowned on interracial dating--white people were only matched up w/white people and very occasionally lighter-skinned Asians; black people w/black people & darker Hispanics; IIRC, it does tend to be a very Christian-focused site, in the more right-wing conservative sense. (Nothing wrong w/that, mind you, but they really should have been up front about it.) Anyway, I just don't see this helping JLH's love life at all, esp. if she can't manage to summon up any enthusiasm for meeting these guys.
(The only site I'm on at all is OKCupid, because a bunch of my friends convinced me I should sign up; I still haven't even put up a picture or completed the profile. They keep trying to match me w/guys I already know and don't want to date, though, so I'm not inclined to think I'll meet anyone that way. Some of the guys seem like they could be good friends, but I can't write to them and ask about that, since guys in particular go on these site to get laid, not to make platonic friends. Such is life...)
Good google moogly! If she could maye dial down the crazy. She seems to be the destructive partner, hyperbolic ideas of what 'love' is. Nor everything is a fairytale, honey!
ReplyDeleteGive me a break. She needs to dial down the crazy. Life s not a fairytale.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame that her 9.5 looks match her IQ. I think she is one of the sexiest women in history and I love that she has real woman curves. I'm surprised that her date didn't get bored once he got tired of oogling her.
ReplyDeleteHimmmm, the old dude is Neil Clark Warren, he was a well known christian psychologist affiliated with Focus on the Family(James Dobson's group) in the 90's. He would frequently appear on James Dobson's radio show and at one time at least Dobson supported Warren's stance on christian principles.
ReplyDeleteAt some point in time, I think around the time that eharmony started getting big, Dobson dropped him. Nothing was ever said publically that I know of, but the impression that I got was that Dobson didn't like some of what Warren was doing with his dating site.
And yes, I'm a good ole southern baptist, but dang it, I like my gossip as much as the rest of y'all do!
