Andrea Bocelli And His Girlfriend Have A Baby Girl

If you have never stopped to read about Andrea Bocelli's girlfriend, you really should take a few minutes to do so. Actually, they are engaged so girlfriend is not quite right. She is 28 and he is 53 which is not that big of a deal right? What you might not know is they started dating when she was 18 and he was 43. Oh, and somehow in the ten years since she has also become his manager. Last week she also became a mother as the two welcomed a baby girl.

Get this quote from his girlfriend about how she disciplines Andrea's other children.

"I try not to impose discipline on them. I try to make them love discipline. I try to make them understand that there is only one way." Sounds a little freaky doesn't it?

  1. His ex must be so thrilled. This girl took the same career path Luciano Pavarotti's widow did. This way she gets at least 15% of his estate, whether or not he marries her.

  2. Oh, that sounds like a classic mom line, just re-worded...

"It's my way or the highway."

Of course, being that she is "step mom" it does sound a bit more sinister.

  6. Isn't he the blind one? That would be cool, he'd never know if you had a booger in your nose or spinach in your teeth!

  9. Should the blind one be the one carrying the newborn baby? What if he trips?

  10. I'm 28 and I can't fathom dating someone that much older than I am; however, if they've been working long enough to receive their pension and retire you could keep you career and save a butt load on child care....

  11. Not to be mean (ok, kind of) but she looks closer to his age than she does to 28

  12. I agree w/ Timebob, something is lost in the translation.

I didn't have to use discipline or punishments. There are things that are non-negotiable and those had a consequence if there was an issue but for the most part we laid out our expectations and seriously did not have a lot of issues.

  13. There is a huge difference between having discipline or developing discipline and actually disciplining.

You are not reading this correctly. I agree with her.

  15. @firebug - I thought the same thing, but I'm on my phone so I wasn't sure if it was because the picture was so small. Guess not. :-)

  16. I thought the same thing as timebob and joymama - something was lost in translation.

  17. yeah agreed with the lost in translation...the wording sounds awkward and seems like it was originally spoken in Italian, or she just doesn't speak english fluently.

  18. I agree, something was lost in translation. Maybe she is trying to teach them to love doing the right thing.
Until I hear more I'll let it go.

Congratulations on the baby, lovely bouquet!

  20. OK, I just followed that link, and it was Andrea who said that, not Veronica; he continued by saying that discipline involved dialogue, and you had to talk a lot w/your children, which sounds much better. I don't know what the whole story is about the 2 of them, but I don't think taking quotes out of context and attributing them to the wrong person is a good idea. *looks sternly at Enty*
