In an interview about the abstinence of Ali Landry while dating her current husband she said something I never saw before. She actually tapped Mario Lopez’s phone while they were married and within hours of doing it she was receiving phone calls from other women who he was cheating with. She says that he has never apologized and to this day insists he never cheated.
That sounds about right.

ReplyDeleteI've been watching her new show Hollywood Girls Night I think it's called. She said something about her "ex" which I assume to be Mario and how they were a liar.

ReplyDeleteTheir marriage lasted 2 weeks. I wonder how soon after they were married that she had his phone tapped. You would think she would have had the intuition that he has cheating before she was married.

ReplyDeleteWow. I don't even know this broad other than the fact that she was married to Mario Lopez for 2 seconds. I couldn't imagine having to take that measure with my husband. She must have known all along. Who knows why she went through with the wedding? Maybe she didn't want to let all the friends and family down. Crazy.
ReplyDeleteShe did seem to explain that when she found out she was already at their wedding destination and guests were coming and she wasn't 100% sure and he denied it. So she went through with the plan and ultimately found out the cheating was true.
ReplyDeleteImportant to note-a legal annulment makes the marriage null and void-so technically, they were never married at all. To me, that is an important distinction-he is not her ex-husband.
Isn't she opening herself up for some type of lawsuit? Tapping a phone, even one of your spouse, seems illegal in any context.

My advice to everyone is always the same: Do not to go youtube and look for "mario flopping" unless you think you're strong enough. He's jumping rope in gym shorts, with no underwear, and then he hugs his father. It's quite the vid.

Yes, Ali was already at the destination wedding, receiving guests, when she found out about his cheating at his bachelor party the night or few days before. She started hearing other murmuers but felt too much pressure and confusion with the 48hrs to her wedding and all the guests having come for them, that she went through with it, feeling sick. She heard whispers about the cheating the NIGHT before the wedding and also on their "honeymoon." A friend convinced her to tap his phone, since he denied, denied, denied. She did, several ladies called, and she filed for an annulment -within weeks of the wedding. I think it's really sad. I don't agree with tapping a phone, but you know, I completely understand it and can't say I wouldn't be tempted if I had the means, and my gut wasn't believing my husband's profuse denials. She wanted to know and know asap, so she could get an annulment and not a divorce down the road. Mario Lopez IS a lying cheating scumbag. Always has been, always will be. I think he is one of the more conceited, egotistical douches in lower Hollywood, in fact. Just gross. I don't understand why people go for him anymore than how anyone went for Ryan O'Neal. I've met both - several times and they are skin-crawling skeevey skeezy SLEEZEY. Really.

ReplyDeleteI've run into Ali a couple of times while shopping at Sephora in NYC and having dinner at the The Grove in LA. She's one of those actresses that looks more beautiful in person than on tv. She looked about 5'6 or 5'7", slim but not too skinny, and her skin was so perfect I couldn't believe it. Very beautiful.
