Simon Cowell will do anything to get ratings for X Factor. Lets think back to last year before the judging panel was announced. All the names being bandied about were A list names and who did Simon end up with? Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. Who encouraged all the rumors? Simon. Why? It gets people talking and make it seem that the show is way more relevant and popular than it actually is. In the past week we have heard the names Beyonce, Mariah Carey and now Britney Spears as possible judges. All of the names came from Simon. Next week he will be name dropping Oprah and God. Sorry. Same person. Oprah and Jesus. People should not be excited about a show for the judges, but the show itself. If you are using judges to get people to come, then you have missed the point.
I just don't see this show lasting. It sucks, he needs to give it up.

ReplyDeleteRegardless, I fail to see the outrage here. He has a show he wants people to watch so he's hustling. Don't we all do that?
I'm so burnt out on these shows and my kids wouldn't be caught dead watching them. I think the time for this genre of shows is passing quickly and there's nothing Simon can do to change that.

I think that Simon's clothes are so tight that they cut off circulation to his brain and he's delusional from it.

ReplyDeleteShe is not even capable of giving a proper media interview or making a video without constant and heavy edits. She is just not able to be "normal" due to whatever her issues and medications are and would NEVER be considered for this job. Poor thing is never even interviewed for this reason.
This is just a publicity grab.
