Jessica Alba looked good. That is leather at the top.
At the same show was Amber Heard.
Stacy Keibler spending some time away from George Clooney was also there.
Victoria Beckham shows off one of the creations from her show.
Matt Damon even made it for Fashion Week.
This is how those photos are taken.
Renee Zellweger makes it two days in a row at Fashion Week.
Sharing the front row with Anna Wintour are Viola Davis and Maria Sharapova.
Leighton Meester was also front row at a show.
Gee, Anna Wintour looks like an absolute joy to be around.[/sarcasm]
ReplyDeleteI love Amber's dress.
ReplyDeleteI saw another photo where Miss Anna was talking with Viola and her husband. But you sure couldn't tell by this pic!
That's the worst I've seen Leighton look.
I too would hold on to Matt Damon tightly if he were my husband.
ReplyDeleteOMG how annoying would all those photographers in your face be??
ReplyDeletePoor Viola and Maria.
ReplyDeleteI hope Anna Wintour spends all of eternity at a Sears fashion show sandwiched between Nikki Minaj and my sister.
Love the top three dresses.
ReplyDeleteSorry Jessica, not a fan of the summerish looking dress with heavy tights unless you are wearing something more winterish on top. Looks unbalanced.
ReplyDeleteLOL it's easy to believe that Anna's nightmare would include having to wear something made at Sear's.
it's fashion, not splitting the atom. Dear Gods the sour look of such seriousness on their faces is beyond silly.
ReplyDeleteThe Matt Damon photo with all the photographers is ... wow, I don't know what to make of that. Keep that photo in mind the next time a post is started criticizing celebrities for carrying their kids.
ReplyDeleteI think Jessica Alba looks awful. I hate opaque tights with bare arms, it doesn't balance well.
I love Renée's outfit.
Posh's shoes are stupid and I love high heels.
Redheat, we think alike (JA comment). The dress is ugly (I think) but the opaque tights kill it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, what happened to pretty Leighton Meester?
Alba looks horrendous, and Heard looks delicious. And I hate the color of Kiebler's dress, but there's no denying that her body is totally bangin.'
ReplyDeleteI really love Vicki Beckham's designs. So many celebs have their own lines, but at least she's turning out a classy product.
Posh's shoes are the perfect nude shade for elongating the leg, but I like the style of Renee's better.
ReplyDeleteI'd hang on to Matt also, what a honey.
i would love to run up to wintour, take the shades and run like hell!
ReplyDeleteRegarding the black tights, I understand what you are all saying, but I think the leather at the shoulders could counterbalance the black tights.
ReplyDeleteSkeball: I double dog DARE YOU to try that one day if you ever have the chance! Miss Anna will CUT YOU for sure. Or send Andre Leon Talley to slap you silly. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think Renee looks good lately- softer, less sinewy.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't imagine all those photographers in my face. NO thanks!
ReplyDeleteAlba's been photographed a LOT lately but hasn't been working much. That can't be good.
ReplyDeleteLove love LOVE Amber Heard's dress. And that hairstyle is perfect with it.
Between that dress and the abomination Michelle Williams wore to the Oscar nom's luncheon, Posh is on a designing down slide.
Sears is too good for Wintour. She deserves to languish in Big Lots hell.
Leighton Meester's hair looks cute!
Yeah, what's with Leighton? She's always been one of my faves, and she looks awful here. Hoping for just a bad angle or lighting.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Leighton's bangs -- her face isn't the right shape for them.
ReplyDeleteI conclude that any husband willing to attend frickin' Fashion Week with his wife could not possibly be the person mentioned in the BI about the husband thinking about leaving his wife for not watching enough sports.
ReplyDeleteLeighton's shoes with that bag is all wrong. Reminds me of The Nanny episode where Mr. Sheffield rushes Fran, and her purse is all wrong for her outfit. She ends up being photographed as a fashion "don't."
ReplyDeleteI love Kiebler's dress, although I'm not a fan of stiletto booties. I like her and Intern George together. No, they don't look like they're "in love," but they do look like they're having a great time together, so I don't know why people are so hard on them. Neither of them seem to be interested in a serious relationship, and more power to them. I think it's absurd how the press wants to marry off any celeb couple the second they go on a date together.
ReplyDelete@Mooshki, ordinarily I don't like that hem length with shoes like that but her legs are 20 feet long. There's only a handful of women that can pull that off, the rest are "real women" (hahahahahahahahahaha).
ReplyDeleteI'm with lutefisk--all kinds of mis-matched-ness going on w/ Leighton.
ReplyDeleteI almost had a panic attack when I saw that photo of Matt Damon. It still boggles my mind that someone who learns lines and then says them for a camera gets this level of adoration and attention in the world and there is this much fascination about them going about their daily life (and I say that being an actor myself - before I get word slapped)... I get that it 'comes with the territory' but that back to front perspective of the paps took my breath away. Eesh...
ReplyDeleteI don't think you could pay me to sit through a fashion show - people always look soooo bored and without the wisecracks from Stanford, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda, what fun would it be?
I concur with all the fashion don'ts. MiserAlba looks blah. The dress is meh but the tights makes it even worse. If she went bare legged with a killer pair of shoes I'd like this more.
ReplyDeleteI don't care how long Keibler's legs are, a midi dress with ankle boots cuts her off regardless. I'm not mad it, but a great pair of pumps and I'd LOVE.
I wonder if Brad is still dressing Jessica Alba? I think she looks fab. Same for Posh's shoes. How on earth she isn't ever photograped eating pavement is beyond me. It's tough to walk on uneven and cracky sidewalks wearing flats, I don't know how she does it.
ReplyDeleteThe Damon picture is horrible. Even though I can't stand him, I'd go all Sean Penn on their asses if the paps got in my personal space like that.
gotta disagree @anita_mark the shoe fanatic in me LOVES Victoria's shoes. And Renee's too, but Victoria's are a bit more on trend at the moment, whereas Renee's are more classic. Since I have some decent (not CL but still nice) ones that look just like Renee's, I want to steal VB's. I wonder if she is a size 6 1/2 foot.
ReplyDeleteand I love the dress VB designed/is wearing too. Never thought I would be biting on her style so much! But I'm certain I can't fit into her clothing.
I'm thrilled to see the ladies getting away from the one foot crossed over the other *peeing myself* pose.
ReplyDelete@Iza, I just think the platform is too high so they go from awesome to clownish. But that's just me. Although Leighton's also appear to have a ridiculously high platform and I want them.
ReplyDeleteI looked it up. Kelly Ripa is a 6 1/2, as am I. We can go try and be her best friend and maybe she'll let us borrow her shoes.
I haven't bought shoes in awhile, I'm starting to twitch a little.
Posh looks like she's wearing pj's and high heels. She also looks like she's never had a child.
ReplyDeleteShe really needs to up her celery stick intake to 2/week.
Man, Alba's dress is killer. Love that color.
ReplyDeleteI heart Renee Z.
ReplyDeleteTop 3 photos are marvelous. JA looks fantastic. Everything about that look is great on her, IMO. Amber Heard is always just, wow, to me. I don't normally care for Stacey Keibler but I think she looks lovely here.
ReplyDeleteThose second photo of Matt Damon & his wife is nuts. How do you even keep your eyes open? They are a cute couple though.
@Del Riser - YES!!! Me too! What IS that pose?
ReplyDelete@Anita you have a good point, platforms are not for everyone. I'm a sucker for them because I like towering over guys, I swear it gives me an edge in terms of mental intimidation when it comes to negotiating, but do have to be careful what I wear them with in a professional environment to not look sleazy-- and also had to learn to walk in them which took time. Either way right now loving the hell out of the ones I have on now-- just classic black pumps which btwn platform and heel give put me just over 6 feet :)
ReplyDeleteI too haven't shoe shopped in way too long (you know, mortgage and stuff like that taking priority), and Kelly Ripa does have great shoes, and we are both her size, so rather than us befriending her lets hatch a plan to raid her closet! Or we could do it the honest way... either way, I'm down!
