Tyra Banks gets the top spot today for getting her degree from The Harvard Business School. Congratulations Tyra.
Cindy Crawford walking the gritty streets of Beverly Hills.
Cheryl Hines also braves the streets.
Is Ciara really still relevant?
Delta Goodrem on some modeling shoot.
Emily Blunt gets her hair done before double dating with Colin Firth and his wife again.
Ivanka Trump in New York.
Why aren't you smiling Justin? It's ice cream. Ice cream makes everyone smile.
Seriously, Nicholas Hoult. Go get some sun.
Jennifer Love Hewitt's character in Client List seems to spend a lot of time strolling. I thought she was more of a Craigslist hooker.
No, don't get sun, that way you won't get skin cancer or wrinkles. 15 minutes a day or 60 minutes a week is all you need. :)
ReplyDeleteJustin Bieber is not smiling because he caught a reflection of himself in a store window and realized that he really does look exactly like a 13 year old girl in that outfit.
How did Tyra attend a 2 year full time program with everything else she's had going on? I couldn't do that program and work.
ReplyDeletetyra went to a program at harvard business school that is supposed to be completed in two weeks. yes, two weeks. she took over a year to complete it.
ReplyDeletelets not get overly impressed. granted, the woman has made tons of money in her life, but she's more of a huckster than anything.
to repeat, she did not get an mba from harvard business school. it was a two week program and she has a certificate, not a diploma.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if Ciara is still relevant but her hair is so 2010.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Tyra!
ReplyDeleteI think Jenn Love looks cute.
No Enty Ciara is beyond irrelevant, she just refuses to accept it.
Enty are you hinting at something about Colin Firth/his wife and Emily Blunt/John Krasinski?
Cheryl Hines always looks happy. Never seen her without that huge grin.
ReplyDeleteTyra paid $100,000 for a Harvard credential which is not really a business degree. It's Harvard University’s Executive Education Owner/President Manager Program, which requires 3 weeks/year for 3 years at $33,000. It's for sucessful folks who didn't go to Harvard but want to say they did.
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished, I guess.

Tyra is not dressed appropriately for receiving this "degree," no matter how easy or hard it was to obtain.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Cheryl Hines (looking normal no less--and not like her crazy, buy funny, character on Suburgatory).
ReplyDeleteJ Love Hewitt looks like a Kardashian.
ReplyDeleteThere's a club/restaurant owner in Chicago who did what Tyra did. Billy Dec. I was like, dude, YOU DO NOT HAVE AN MBA FROM HARVARD! Stop telling people you do! Douche. Tyra did not get an MBA from HBS. Please.
ReplyDeleteI loooove Delta Goodram's outfit.
There is nothing more overdone than an Herve Leger bandage dress a la JLH these days. Please stop wearing them.
The Beaver needs to stop wearing those stupid looking pants/shorts.
ReplyDeletePS: He does look like a girl LOL
Coincidentally, Tyra and ANTM are casting for college students only for the fall show. That way she can tout her degree in front of contestants and viewers.

Cindy Crawford needs to cover up those toes. Ewwww.
ReplyDeleteMORE Jennifer Love Hewitt??? I'm starting to get a little paranoid.
ReplyDeleteI thought Delta Goodem was Heidi Klum!
ReplyDeleteIn Australia you can gain certificates and degrees with recognition for prior learning. This includes your work history. Degrees and certificates are to prepare you for working in a chosen industry. For people who have worked in those industries but don't have a piece of paper, this is a way for them to gain acknowledgement for their expertise and acquire the bit of paper that can make a difference in obtaining a job elsewhere. Tyra has built a successful business and has earned the right, by her life and business experience, to be credited with a degree. How many people who have business degrees are as successful as Tyra?

Especially during the day! I never took any notice of her but after the series of sad-ass birthday pictures I saw over on DListed, she's the most pathetic creature ever.
So it's not a real degree, eh? That's sad and funny. And yeah, I also thought the ensemble wasn't overly appropriate. But if it's the GED equivalent of HBS, sure, wear whatever.
Um, the Emily Blunt comment does seem like a reveal. Wasn't there something about two swinging couples?
ReplyDeleteWhether she's relevant or not Ciara is easy on the eyes.
ReplyDeleteJustin Bieber's not smiling b/c he just realized that his ice cream is actually frozen yogurt.
ReplyDeleteEnty, I can't believe you fell for Tyra's bullshit. The program may be administrated by Harvard, but it's no different from any of the crap schools that run the late night commercials. (Including that incredibly depressing one that shows just how far Shannen Doherty has fallen.) Basically, they sell you a degree.
ReplyDeleteCheryl Hines is absolutely amazing on Suburgatory. It looks like her "Supremacy White" teeth have faded a bit, though. ;)
JLH in another bandage dress....SHOCKER!!!!
ReplyDeleteEmily Blunt, do you look in the mirror before you go out? That shirt is hideous.
ReplyDeleteThe thought of John and EB and Colin and his wife all being involved with each other makes my stomach turn. Sadly nothing she does surprises me now though.
@Feraltart: That actually makes sense to me. Do you know how many lawyers graduate from law school, get their degree and are completely unable to even draw up a contract? Why shouldn't life experience count for something? I understand buying your paper and taking a year to complete a two week course is another story altogether but Tyra is indeed very driven and successful. For that I admire her.
ReplyDeleteDelta's legs are awesome and no matter how ugly the shirt you have to admit that Emily has a rocking body. If Colin and his wife are looking at her nekkid at least it's a good view.
No wheelchair pics of Zsa Zsa? Come on!!!
ReplyDeleteThe hees on Tyra's shoes scare me. I would never be able to balans myself on those.
ReplyDelete*heels*
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Tyra! Its cool she got this certificate or diploma or whatever. Jlh boobs look weird but the rest of her looks good!
ReplyDeletei have to agree with @feraltart
ReplyDeletei have going on 4 businesses, no by a long short a millionaire but i have done things to inspire others and even started a conference with my niece to help other creative folks to start their biz out of their passion.
i didnt go to biz school (studied bio, lit and philosophy) but i worked my ass off for years and never backed down.
BUT i do think it should be an honorary degree (given not taken)..more like an award for those who went the alt-route and make it without "proper" ed.
for the conference:

:)
PS: delilah the "unknown" mostly lurker now b/c i work all the pinche time!
ReplyDeletelove what i do though :)
Tyra Banks doesn't even have a college degree! This is just a certificate she paid for. I think she should actually get her BA then I would be impressed.
ReplyDeleteWow so much hostility because Tyra took some classes and got a piece of paper. Why? It's ridiculous.
ReplyDelete@Princess I think it is becuase of Enty's unfortunate use of the word "degree". Making it seem she spent 4 years earning it.
ReplyDeleteWhat she actually did is this.
"Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program in 2010. Taught in three-week increments over three years, the now $33,000-a-year program aims to help successful entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level"
So Tyra spend 90 grand and 9 weeks at Harvard total over 3 years it's adult education for millionairs.

@Sherry I 100% agree with you. I work at an accounting firm and people with fancy degrees can't manage simple accounting formulas or know basic tax law. I am not talking about staff either. I am talking about high level Partners. Who hide behind their titles so people don't know how really ignorant they are.
ReplyDeleteIf you think that big head Tyra actually earned that certificate, you've lost your fucking mind. If I were a Harvard grad, I would demand an apology from the school for allowing shit like that to be bought and paid for.
ReplyDelete@timebob, at least in the world of accounting I think degrees AND experience are important. It doesn't have to be a Harvard degree but don't really want a high level executive without some sort of degree.
ReplyDeleteI think any "degree" obtained in two weeks is bullshit. As are honorary degrees where none of the work was actually completed.
Tyra should be allowed a ribbon for creating "smize."
