Throughout this past season on Real Housewives, Lisa Vanderpump was seen at one of her restaurants. Sur. This was to see if people would get excited about her visit there and if there was a flimsy enough premise to make a show about her efforts at the restaurant. Apparently there was not and despite a pilot being filmed there will be no Lisa spin off show. I think it would have been kind of boring. How many restaurant shows does this world need. Oh, and has anyone ever figured out the difference between Kitchen Nightmares and Restaurant Impossible?
Thank god wisdom finally prevailed. LVP is one of the most interesting women on the show, but I have zero desire to see a spinoff at her restaurant. Now give me the inner workings of the Palms casino, and I'll watch it. But at this point, restaurants have lost all their mystery and appeal.

ReplyDeleteBetween Food Network, The Cooking Channel and Gordon Ramsey's shows, all the mystique (if one can call it that) has been taken out of the F&B business. Besides, I'd much rather see Lisa mixing it up with the other, ahem, ladies on TRHoBH.

The joke Lisa made about her and Ken only having sex twice a year was just her sense of humor. Those two are still gettin' it on like bunnies. I think they really genuinely like each other.
