I Think Bobby Brown Is Still On Crack

When I sat back and thought about the behavior of Bobby Brown over the past week, I have come to the conclusion that the guy is still on crack or something else. Lets go through everything shall we? The night Whitney dies he still plays a show and only when he realizes that Bobbi Kristina might be vulnerable does he fly to Los Angeles to see her. Then he says he wants to go to the funeral but that the family won't let him. Hello Nick Carter. The family says it is all crap. Hello Nick Carter. So, Bobby ends up going but only stays five minutes because they would not let him bring nine people into the funeral. Can Bobby Brown really afford a 9 person entourage or are these people hanging on now because they think Bobbi/Bobby is going to get some Whitney money. So, after not getting in the funeral, Bobby went and performed and partied all night.

  1. Bobby's official statement is that he was asked to move three times, and that he couldn't see his daughter, so he just left. I wonder what the truth is?

Side note: was waiting for Whitney's gay rumors to pop up, and sure enough, three days later... If Bobby really wants some attention, he'll go there.

  2. He's a pig. It's sad.

    Over induldged, arrogant, crackhead.

  3. This is getting to much press. They were married, had a daughter and divorced. Does not matter what he does. Hopefully, he will reconcile with his daughter-if possible.

  4. Maybe the 9 people were his children and their children/spouses? The photos from the day show a sad, sober man.

I don't really care either way about all of this hoopla, but sometimes even a fool does something right.

  6. Maybe crack is a longshot but he is definitely under the influence of something. That group of people were actually his children and fiancée. I think that he should have done whatever asked and kept this mess to himself. My question is "is Bobbi Kristina asking for him"? She is of legal age now. If it were me I would have immediately been at my child's side. No comments to the media about nothing. Just focusing on my child.

  7. He's grieving the way he needs to. It doesn't mean he's on crack just because he didn't fly back immediately when her heard his ex-wife died. Anyway, he looks too heavy to be on crack.

  8. He is where the bulk of Whitney's money went....
I still remember one of the last foreclosure's on a house of his, Whitney wouldn't bail him out....she probably couldn't the moneys been gone a long time.

  9. I'm sorry for saying he's a crackhead when I have no clue.

Maybe he's not a crackhead but he way overstepped his bounds. When you are given a plus two invite you show up as a trio and not with extras. Rude.

His children could have attended the wake, paid their respects at the viewing, etc...What happened was wrong, caused a scene for those who saw it, and tarnished the celebration with all the press.

  11. Sorry for the deletions - I posted the same thing once too many times. Back to BB, I never watched the show and don't really know if they were amicably divorced, but who "invites" someone to a funeral? I think the fact that he plus one "invited" made the whole thing start on the wrong foot. You go and bring whomever you want to pay your respects to those you love/loved.

  12. Have to agree the problem was always Bobaaaaay. You can check the PCL -R and check present for every characteristic. Until you have been a victim of a psychopath you will never know what it's like. Whitney never found the help she needed.

In all the programs I've seen since her death she looks so drugged up all the time. I can agree she had a problem before Bobaaaaay but this could never be resolved because of Bobaaaaay . Enty is right.

Dr. Drew should be on this. Psychopathy cannot be cured. So many of the addicts on his program were not addicts in the true sense but psychopaths. He could have done a service to all by making this clear - instead of making a buck.

I feel so bad for Whitney now. I think some of those around her knew but I also think others around her were also psychopathic. The disease just presents in so many different ways that if you don't understand it you can only be confused.

  13. All this was about was drawing attention to himself and still being jealous that Whitney was always the bigger star.

IF he loved his daughter so much, he would of walked in alone just grateful to be in the church near her. No matter where he sat.

He had a tantrum and left.

  14. It was BK's mother's funeral. if she wnated him next to her he could have been. I don't think Bobby was Whitney's downfall but I think there must be some bad blood between Bobby and bk.

  15. I'm just glad it's over. RIP Whitney

  16. I agree - thank goodness the hoopla was over. I turned on CNN and Jesse Jackson compared her to Jesus. I mean, really? She was lovely and could sing. What the hell else did she do? I'm tired of people putting her up on a pedestal and blaming the man she was divorced from for years for her death.

Agree with Ms Cool. I also think it's utterly ridiculous these famous people's funerals are televised. Cheapens the whole thing.

  18. MsCool-GTFOH?!!! That one right there...Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would go to the opening of a damn envelope if it meant publicity and a check.

  19. I'm no fan of Bobby Brown but I think he's getting a really raw deal here. He brought his kids and brother. Those kids were her step-kids and they knew her as their step -mom for what, 15 years? I saw all these celebrities but these kids couldn't attend? The family chose to get their revenge by making them move over and over in front of everyone. He didn't make a scene; he left and yes he probably was upset. I saw a picture of one of his you get sons crying after they left while waiting for the car. Whitney apparently sang at his mothers funeral a couple of months ago. She loved his family. Would she have wanted those kids and brown treated that way?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Sorry for iPhone errors but seeing the son crying outside really bothered me considering the church was packed with pseudo celebs. Dlisted was worse than this. I thinks she loved the step-kids. Jesse Jackson? Who knows.

  21. @Elizabeth, I agree.

Whitney has been laid to rest, and I think the vilification of Bobby Brown needs to stop. Her habits killed her -- not her ex-husband.

  22. Elizabeth,
I did not know that his son was crying in the car, I only caught the last hour of the service so I missed the Bobby tantrum.
I'm not a fan of his and I know that he treated Whitney like crap but I refuse to believe that he was the reason for her downfall, Whitney was known to use drugs before she married Bobby and has kept abusing substances sine they divorced 5 years ago.
I don't see why the Houston family couldn't just allow his kids inside to say goodbye, she was their stepmom after all, there were plenty of celebrities that were invited that really didn't even know her personally.
Finally I don't know if Bobby is a sociopath or not but he is bipolar and that can cause erratic behavior, maybe the stress got to him.
The service was ice and now Whitney can finally rest in peace.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @ Elizabeth, I agree too.

I also read that they wouldn't let him talk to his daughter at the funeral. Whitney and BK went out with him recently and things were good between them. I think it breaks his heart that they're turning BK against him.

  24. Sorry Enty, I think BB is just getting too much credit for WH's downfall. EVERYBODY would love for it to be someone else's fault. Bobby is the fall guy. THEY did drugs TOGETHER even after the birth of their daughter. Bobby moved on and is married with 2 young children. I saw him in the Galt House Hotel in a bar drinking water!!!! He seemed sober as he took pics and signed various things...he seemed together and at the show he was awesome. We give so many drug addicts a 2nd chance, including WH even though she never got clean but her partner in crime (during the middle of her drug spiral) continues to collect blame. Are we so desperate to see BB stumble again???...even though he seems to be trying to be a better father and husband this time around?? Are we all gonna share in the blame if he does slip again, like you expect him to do for WH?
There is no honor in an expectation of failure. Especially when it could be any of us, and especially when all we want to do is be right about how wrong someone else is. Dude, hating is bad.

  25. Rapper Fabolous got in a fight with Ray J last Sept. and Fab accused him of being on pills. Was Bobby Brown known for abusing Xanax? Did Ray J get Whitney hooked on perscription drugs?

Whitney was partying with Ray J in the months before she died. Ray J was welcomed to the funeral, and Bobby gets the blame?

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Ms Cool - That is crazy!!! Jesus?? If he was real he probably didn't smoke crack. Just a guess.

    @Elizabeth - I couldn't agree with you more.

Whitney's death was turned into a circus. I can't even begin to image how the people that truly loved her, feel about all of this. I hope she will finally rest in peace soon.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Elizabeth, I could not have said it better. You are 100% correct.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Agree 100% with Elizabeth. Like it or not, he was her husband and the father of her ONLY child. He should have been seated properly and without incident. He was there with his kids that he had prior to his marriage to Whitney and I believe brother or an uncle. But Whitney knew all of these people intimately- better than many of these celebrities that were there. I'm not a Bobby fan, but that's just shitty. There has been issues between Bobby and the family but that should have been put aside at least for the day.

  29. I am thankful, in a way, that this has been brought up because last night I asked my husband what would he do if we got divorced & I passed away. Would he be there for our son? We had a very interesting conversation & both came to the conclusion that we would attend to be there for our son no matter what. You know what, I beleve he will be there, as I would be there if he was to go first, but lets hope we stay married forever ... its been 10 yrs so far, so we are doing good. I'm really happy we had this talk.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I agree with all above who said that Bobby & his children (Whitney's step-children for 15 years), should have been welcomed at the funeral. What I would like to add is, Bobbi Kristina, you are 18 years old, if you want to see your dad, you see him. Don't let your grandmother and aunties keep you away from the only parent you have left.

  31. The whole situation seems so sad...my opinion on Bobby B. is that he has let alcohol replace his other addictions. Much more socially acceptable. I don't have any other evidence except that when he was on Celebrity Fit Club he consistently drank and gained weight to the point that he was called out on the alcohol and I think he even quit the show early in an outrage over it.

  32. I don't think he ever got off crack!

How come no one is upset by Aretha Franklin;s poor excuse for not going, leg cramps! Aretha was Whitney's godmother. Aretha could have at least gone, if not sung.

    ReplyDelete
  33. What about the rumors that BK is as bad of an addict as her mom? Who knows...

    ReplyDelete
  34. The vilification of Bobby Brown started long ago in the mainstream media when he and Whitney first got together. I always noticed that the mainstream media (as in, not the media specifically targeted to us black folks) would always refer to him as "bad-boy rapper Bobby Brown" even though he was not actually a rapper. Clive Davis sold Whitney as this "pure as the driven snow" kind of character and the MM fell for it hook, line, and sinker. And somehow, they still seem to believe it, as evidenced by so many people on these blogs stating that Bobby started her on drugs and was the reason for her downfall when that was definitely not the case. If anything, they enabled each other by doing drugs together, so it seems the blame should go both ways if that's the way it's gonna roll.

And since when are celebrities' children referred to as "an entourage"? It made it sound as though Bobby had a group of hangers-on with him instead of Bobbi Kristina's half-siblings. Bobby lost both of his parents in 2011 and Whitney went to both of those funerals. Why would Bobby not expect that his family would not be welcome at her funeral when she was welcomed at his family's funerals? So obviously, the vilification continues.

And Henriette is right. Why isn't anyone talking about that bullshit excuse that Aretha Franklin gave for skipping the funeral? Did she even tell the family that she wasn't coming or did she only alert the media? I ask because I saw Dionne Warrick announce her as though she were there and then she had to scramble to excuse the absence.

  35. I LOVED Whitney 20 years ago when she burst forth with a voice only God could have created. It was a gift and it belonged to the world but she threw it away.
She had done so much damage to her brain, she wasn't allowed to be in the bathroom alone for more than 7 minutes without someone checking on her.
If she was anyone else she would have died in a shelter or on a bench with the other mentally challenged drug addicts whose families couldn't take care of them anymore. She would have been buried in a cardboard without a funeral in the back corn. Since the TV cameras were there it was a 3 hour funeral with the rev. Jessie Jackass front and center.

  36. I personally cannot stand Dionne Warrick. She acted like an entitled bitch on Celebrity Apprentice last year. I also think that BB was treated horribly at Whitneys funeral.

  38. Hey, Aretha could have shown up. I'm sorry, but that's bullshit. The Post said she performed last night in NYC! WTH? At least Bobby showed and that had to have been very hard. Didn't he have a couple of kids that used to be on the show? Ya, I watched and IMO he was a much nicer person than Whitney. Isn't he a little chubby for a crackhead? Not that I'm an expert, but it's too easy to call Bobby a crackhead. Tonight I saw a little girl going through a magazine at the check-out and there were pictures of the filth from a house that Whitney had lived in. Remember that from a few years back? Now, how crackhead is that? Like another poster said, Clive "whitewashed" (excuse the expression) Whitney to the point of even Blacks criticizing her for being too white.

Today's Post also reported that BK disappeared after the funeral to get high in a hotel room. Hopefully, Dionne will step in and help out? Ya, right. (I didn't like her on Celeb Apprentice either).

I know I've defended him all week and while he needs to stop mentioning her at his concerts, he isn't any more to blame than I am that Whitney's dead.

I watched The Body Guard last night, got a little teary, and felt sad that she really pissed it all away.

  39. Margo, I think they were attendants at the church. I'm not sure of the exact title, but in the Black Baptist churches I've been to there are seating attendants. At the end of the funeral did you notice the person directing people out of the aisle and when he (or she) turned around he nearly bumped into one of the pall bearers?

Yes! Aretha Franklin performed the day before the funeral and the day after! I was so shocked by that, and it seemed she had told the media and not the family!

  41. "on crack" always (no pun intended) cracks me up. You mean he's "smoking crack" which probably isn't true because BB has enough money to smoke rock cocaine, not crack.

If BK wants to see her dad, she is an adult not a 12 y/o. She can make it happen!

  43. I happen to know that there was a special friendship between Robyn and Whitney. It's no big deal. I think it's sad that's what people are focusing on. We need to move on.

  44. @noseyparker that's a really interesting point you brought up about Ray J!! I heard something about Whitney crashing an interview with Brandy and giving her a note, has anyone heard about that? Prepping for a move is seriously interfering with my gossip!

  45. Bobby Brown has to perform his contracted concerts -- he lives day-to-day on the cash from the previous night's performance. Special seating for family members is customary at black church funeral services. (The family is usually seated down front, at the right; mourners are not expected to sing hymns or participate, but instead to be comforted by the congregants. They are attended by volunteer nurses.) The sanctuary only holds 1500 people and they had to measure out seating carefully. He was given three seats (himself and 2 guests.) Instead he showed up with a party of 10, without asking permission, then sat themselves in an area intended for other guests. If this had been a club or an awards event he'd have done them the courtesy of letting them know in advance: he knew exactly what would happen when he did this at a church.
