Ellen Is Persistent With Kate Upton

Ellen has Kate Upton on her show today and she asked Kate whether the rumors are true about her dating Mark Sanchez. Ellen is crafty and asked the question about four different ways before finally giving up. I wish other interviewers would do the same thing.

Ellen first asked her straight out and Kate said she did not have a date for Valentine's Day this year.

Ellen then said he is cute and asked Kate if she thought he was cute and Kate said, yes.

Kate then admitted she has met him before after Ellen asked her once again if they were dating, but would not say how many times she has met him. It was much more funny watching it. Ellen can make boring questions funny. That is a very difficult talent to master.

I love Ellen. She gets that childlike look on her face and "innocently" zeroes in for the kill.

  2. She's exactly the kind Sanchez likes: teenage and skanky.

Like I said on yesterday's post, I saw this woman being interviewed on NFL Network during the SB Media Week.

She said her sister works for the Jets, and she was after Cam Newton because her brother was a fan.

Everything about her screamed "jersey chaser".

  4. Ellen is just SO very funny. And without being sleazy (like Chelsea) or secretly bitchy (like Rosie).

    I simply adore her.

  5. I can see Sanchez having a few dates with her. He seems to like blond and ditzy, or dark-haired and exotic. He doesn't appear to deviate much.

But she'll have to stand in line for Newton. A lot of women are gunning for him.

  6. Ellen has a "thing" for my imaginary husband, Clay Matthews (see my avatar). She's a huge Packer fan. :-)

  7. I love Ellen too. She *does* make boring questions too funny!

  8. I love Ellen, especially her segments when she sends celebrities to Target or Starbucks, or even the starbuck baristas with ear pieces. Then she tells them what to say.

David Beckham working at Target was hilarious.

  10. I like Ellen too - I don't usually watch her show (too early in the afternoon) but the snippets I see are usually pretty funny. She just seems like a decent, kind hearted human to me.

  11. Am I the only one who thinks Kate Upton is quite overrated? I love what the VS fashion show exec said, though it was pretty snarky. However, I can't disagree.

  13. I'm so glad her comeback worked. For a few years, I was worried.

And a "million moms" can focus on their own lives instead!

  14. @Rose - I love that segment! Dennis Quaid in Starbucks was my fav.

Ellen makes me cry almost every day b/c of the families she helps. I think she is wonderful person & she does SO much to raise awareness about a variety of issues. I love that she ends her shows with "Be kind to one another." because Lord knows that's something we need to be reminded of!

What I thought was more hilarious in this interview was pointing out the absurdity of that bathing suit bottom!
