I didn't realize this was still blind. The radio show I listen to talk about how he made this comment all the time. They flat out asked all the girls if they thought he was gay. Snooki and jwow said it wouldn't surprise them and Sam and deena said he just has some feminine qualities but they didn't think he was gay. But also admitted they didn't know for sure.

ReplyDeleteNever say never. Sexuality and sexual attraction/horniness is very powerful. I'm sure many people have said "I'd never xxx", but did in moments of abandon. I believe there's no "straight" or "gay", we're all on a spectrum and sometimes our place on the spectrum changes with the situation.

ReplyDeleteOn another forum, one of the male posters described having one of those dreams, realizing it was really happening, and opening his eyes to find out it was his wife's best friend, shirt off, giving him a BJ! Her excuse was that she just wanted to prove she could take care of him as well as his wife could, said with a wink! (She had fallen on troubled times & was staying w/them until she could get back on her feet.) He got her off him, threw his clothes on, drove to his wife's workplace (they worked different shifts), and told her exactly what went down--or, more accurately, who--and needless to say, the BF was an ex-BF and had to find a new place to stay ASAP. I'm not sure I agree with this reveal. The Situation may be a colossal douche but does that really make it okay to out him? I didn't think Enty was the sort to push people out of the closet.
ReplyDeleteNot all straight guys, but there are a few out there who are open minded enough (and horny enough) that it doesn't bother them if they get a BJ from a who is gay. As long as no one is being forced, it is a win win for both of them. But that doesn't mean they are gay though. It just means they are equal opportunity. Not sure what the Sitch's situation is, but doesn't he tend to drool over his own body? If you love your body that much, chances are pretty good that you like other equeally develped men.
ReplyDeleteI think the disagreement over this boils down to: For some people, "gay" and "straight" are cultural categories, while for others it refers to sexual behavior. The myth of the heterosexual man who has sex with men, for instance, requires us to believe the "secret inner truth" definition, that a person's secret internal object choice defines their sexuality, in spite of the fact that they are engaging in other acts. For many others, the word "gay" refers to men who have sex with men, but the men who have sex with men sometimes object to that term so strenuously that in social science, you have to call them MSM or Men who have Sex with Men. Cuz if you call them gay they'll throw a hissy fit. Go figure.
