When Tim Tebow helps you do the Tebow and Katy Perry dedicates a song to you, at what point is there too much Tebow? Is this like too much cowbell? Can there never be enough Tebow? Because you know there can never be too much cowbell.
I love seeing Jimmy Fallon lose it during this sketch. He was always losing it. If I were on stage with Will Ferrell I'd be laughing constantly, just looking at him makes me laugh.
I've never seen Tebow tebow, only seen others do it.
A CDAN reader recently said that they saw Alec Baldwin on the street and that he looked thinner in person - I think he's dropped weight since the last season of 30 Rock, he's looking much more trim.
I have no idea who this guy is, or how he managed to creep into the public consiousness. So he is a football player that likes to strike a pose? Vadge is going to be all over that today.
Tebow is a flagrant bible-thumper who won the Heisman as an option (i.e., not a real QB) quarterback for Florida. Most famous recently for winning a bunch of fourth-quarter comebacks for Denver, ironically so since it was his poor play early on in those games that left his team in a hole.
Despite the Heisman and the hoopla his fundamental mechanics are so bad that Denver is already looking to draft a QB to replace him.
ANY amount of Tebow is too much for me. He seems like a total tool, but then again, what do I know. I dislike both football and fundamentalist Christianity. So I am not in his target market.
Do I have to take either one of them? Tim won't assault me, but my patience re: Bible-bangers isn't what it used to be (like back in the day when I was a Sunday School teacher...yes, really). Ben is a total scumbag, though, and hopefully karma will kick his ass sooner rather than later.
Katie, the difference is that Rothlisberger isn't shoved in our faces all over the place. When I happen to hear his name, I still take a spit in his general direction.
Love Tebow. He's more religious than I am (but then, so is a tree stump) but he's a good kid. Sorry to see the media slam him. He's not the first NFL player to take a knee to thank his higher power for a good play. But I'd lay odds he won't be killing dogs, raping women, dealing drugs or getting involved in a murder or two. I'd much rather see someone like him as a role model for kids than many of the other players.
Tired of Tebow but agree that I'd take him any time over "Rape"lisburger or dog killin' Michael Vick. I'd like to see more people upset about them. They are disgusting human beings.
Oh wow. I just watched the "more cowbell" skit on Netflix streaming (best of Christopher Walken on SNL) and I laughed so hard. I had forgotten how funny it was. Comedy seems to come from really unpredictable sources sometimes...where do they get these crazy ideas? :)
I'm so sick of Tim Tebow.

Katy Perry dedicated a song to Tebow? What, when?
ReplyDeleteOh Alec, that's soooo 2011.
ReplyDeleteHe's dropped a bunch of weight. I credit the much-younger yoga teacher girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteI think I've seen there can definitely be too much Tebow. However there can NEVER be too much cowbell. Never ever ever!!!

ReplyDeleteI only know of Tebow, what I read here.
ReplyDeleteHe will never be cowbell

ReplyDeleteStrangely enough, people have a bigger problem with Tim Tebow than Ben Rothlisberger. I'll take Tebow any day of the week.
ReplyDeleteITA Katie.

ReplyDeleteDitto for Michael Vick.
ReplyDeleteCowbell over Tebow each and every day until the end.
ReplyDeleteI don't like Tebiw, but I love that cowbell.
We need more cowbell!
Hmmm. I must have overdosed on superbowl pig out food, because for some reason Tebow looks hot here.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand the kid.
But here he looks attractive.
I'm going to bed...

ReplyDeleteBalwin recently lost around 30 lbs, I read an article about it - but since it is recent it doesn't show on 30 Rock
ReplyDeleteI'm not crazy about Tim Tebow, BUT you could never have enough Tebowing...
