Slow Down Rosie O'Donnell - Michelle Rounds is Trying To Get Pregnant

Rosie O'Donnell needs to stop, take a breath and a step back and think to herself that she has had some really bad luck with relationships in the past and this one with Michelle Rounds is going way too fast. The couple has barely been dating for six months, are engaged, planning a wedding, and Michelle is already seeing as fertility doctor to get pregnant. Whoa. Rosie talks about all this next week on Dr. Oz's show February 2nd. Normally I do not work on February 2 as I pay homage to the movie Groundhog Day and choose to stay in bed all day and watch the movie, and later go upstairs and watch recorded Jeopardy programs with my mom while I shout out the correct answers while swigging from a bottle of booze. Ahh, good times.

There is no way I will take an hour off from that schedule to watch Dr Oz. Rosie and her issues just don't measure up to watching 12 straight hours of Bill Murray and wondering what I would do if I had to live the same day over again. With my luck the day would be the day that some Kardashian did something so the entire 24 hours would be devoted to nothing but Kardashian.

  1. It can take me six months to decide if I want to date someone. Lord, Rosie, what the hell is the rush? There are very few people that you can get down to their true essence in that short of time period.

12 straight hours of Groundhog's Day? Sorry Enty, but that sounds like torture to me. Like the Jeopardy part, though.

  5. ^^I agree. She seems not-so-nice.

I want to hang out with Enty on Groundhogs Day. This sounds like a fabulous way to spend the day.

  6. Not to mention that Rosie already has a thousand kids with Kelly. How much good parenting can one woman do with two co-parents? Take a breath, Rosie. If this is truly love, it won't disappear.

  7. Rushing into a relationship isn't the worse thing you can do but rushing into pregnancy and fertility treatments with a new partner is a bad, bad, idea.

I disagree with everything said....if she's in love then go for it. Life is SHORT.

  10. It seems baring her teeth is supposed to pass for a smile in that picture.

Yeah, life is SHORT but it can seem long to a kid who's born into a rocky marriage or relationship. Rosie barely met this woman, and isn't this the woman's first ever lesbian relationship? How much of that is "Oh, suddenly I believe I am a lesbian" and how much is "Oh, here's a chance to get famous and rich by being with Rosie"?

I don't care how you fling yourself into new romances, marry them, buy them the moon, build a Taj Mahal for them, but do not bring a child into something that's not likely to last.

@Robert, that's how she always smiles. Bare teeth, no expression in the eyes. Just like Britney always smiles by opening her mouth as wide as she can and showing us the wad of gum back on her molars.

@Syko, how do YOU know that it is a rocky marriage or not likely to last? You don't really know, do you?

  16. You know, I'm hardly the one to be giving dating advice. However, I would greenlight this. People meet, get crazy about each other, bond, merge, discover some minor flaw that they don't like, then pull back, act cold and bitchy, turn every conversation into a dumping ground for all the accumulated baggage of a lifetime, then leave. As we jettison the idea of permanent love relationships, this is the standard pattern. What is there to gain by saying, "Um, I'm not going to commit to you until you jump through these hoops and leap over this hurdle. Then I'll marry you. And then I'll discover some minor flaw in you that will destroy everything." I guess what I'm saying is, Love all you can, people. Make it work.
