Random Photos Part Two

Jessica Alba shows off part of her latex collection and her
adorable daughter.
The Obama secret Alice In Wonderland party featuring Johnny Depp over on the left. This was before the movie had come out.
Kate Beckinsale looking good on the way to Live with Kelly
Best friends Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan bookend Michael Fassbender.
Kate Winslet says you don't have to be a size 2 to be attractive. True. Airbrushing helps though. I wish I could airbrush about 200 pounds off me.
Lindsay Lohan for some line you would never know about and won't care about if she had not posed for them.
A smile from Rooney Mara. See, not as scary when she does that.
Emma Stone walking the streets of New York.

  1. Jessica's daughter - so cute!

    Kate looks wonderful.

    Jealous of Keira & Carey.

Kate looks hot in those ads, I also like the photo of Lindsay (the photo itself, not her, but she looks good too).

He's right, Rooney Mara does look different when she smiles. I've never seen her in anything so I only see the POSES.

Emma looks very put together. Dang, the women on this post are making me feel bad!

  6. Fassbender! First time he's reunited with Carey too, after Shame's wrap.

And as much as I dislike Mara's smugness as it is portrayed in various interviews, I saw Dragon Tattoo yesterday and she really does excel in the movie imo. A much different interpretation of Lisbeth than Rapace, but just as compelling to watch.

  9. Lots of nice shoes in these photos!

Jessica Alba looks great. So do Kate Winslet and Emma Stone.

    Nice hooker shoes, Lindsay.

I can't say the same for Lindsay, though.

  12. Alba's daughter is too cute! That's the first I'm seeing of her. And HAH! I'll never get out of my head what she said while pregnant with Honor, "I'm so excited for my baby to be born brown". Now she has 2 white kids lol! They seriously are so cute though and this one seems to resemble her a little more and Honor looks like her daddy.

  14. Is that Mia Wasikowska on the right in the Obama picture?

She was absolutely amazing in Jane Eyre with M. Fassbender! Her performance blew me away (not so the movie though).

I love how poised and cute Emma Stone is always. For her age, she's doing really, really well.

  15. Baby Alba looks a lot like her mother, trop cute! i like that Keira K looks healthier, i think she's more beautiful now. Nice pic Obamas.

  16. The "secret" Alice in Wonderland party--where the press corps was invited, but just didn't report much on it at the time. Phhlbtt...

  17. Agreed, Emma Stone is looking composed, elegant and very movie star-ish here and lately in general.

Speaking of Lindsey Lohan's replacement, LiLo hereself looks pretty good in that pic, the dress is yummy.

Keira Knightley is REALLY into that Heroin, isnt she? And all just to stay thin too, what a waste.

Wonder how much having an A-lister like Johnny Depp come to your private party AND dress up in what looks like hours of makeup costs. Not to mention what looks like 1/4 of the cast at least. Hope that came out of your own coffers Mr. President...

  18. p.s. jessica alba's dress is horrrribleee..

it's like a dairy maid frock and an s & m mesh dress had a baby and that's the result.

  19. I keep seeing IMO written on here but I don't know what it means. Can someone explain it?

    ReplyDelete
  20. IMO = in my opinion

    Emma Stone looks beautiful.

Kate Beckinsale photographs as insufferably as she seems. (Does that make sense? I just find her ridiculous.)

    Fassbender... HOT.

Kate Winslet looks like they Photoshopped a good 15 pounds off of her. I want to believe she's sincere, but her photos and appearances undermine all her talk about loving how you look.

  21. ^In My Opinion. IMHO, In my humble opinion.

  22. I hate Jessica Alba's dress but she looks cute anyways and her baby girl is adorable.

Kate looks smoking hot in those ads.

Rooney Mara without those hideous bangs and a smile on her face looks good.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Goodness, that's a cute little Alba baby.

Ok, I get the Fassbender love in that particular pic. Kiera looks fantastic, as well.

LL's dress/shoes are nice, but she still looks pretty busted from the neck up. REALLY wish she'd dye her hair back to it's natural color.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Am I the only one who doesn't get the Fassbender love? I was absolutely surprised to learn that he is only 25. He looks often like a used 35. His face is like someone who has known too much.

Will have to see him in Shame though, I hear it's really good.

Looks like Lindsay is here to stay. People keep giving her work.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I didn't believe for a minute that Fassbender is only 25 when I read your comment Rita. So I went to look it up. Wikipedia says he was born in '77. He turns 35 in April.

I still can't believe that he's 'only 35', but that makes more sense.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Rita- no, you're not the only one. His skin colour isn't grey here for once though - that's a nice surprise. I don't get the love for Keira Knightly...I find her so BORING.

    ReplyDelete
  28. ^ Really? He's 35??? Well that makes much more sense. I've read on other blogs that he's only 25.

    ReplyDelete
  29. No Rita. I don't get it either. I think seeing actors in roles where they appeal to one sexually (Ryan Gosling-The Notebook) is what prompts declarations of hotness. I know you loves you some RG but I have never seen that movie so I can't find his sexiness. Could that be an incorrect assessment?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Anonymous1:33 PM

Oh Emma, bravo. Everything about that look is perfection.

Rooney M and Kate B look great too but if there was a prize, Emma would get it.

I find Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan irritating as hell. I imagine them talking about the most boring things imaginable in the tiniest little voices.

I don't know who Michael Fassbender is, nor do I know most of the other male actors talked about on gossip sites. I really need to see some movies. And before anyone explains the internet to me, I'm saying I don't know who they are, I'm not asking who they are.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sherry!!!! Watch DRIVE!!! Not the Notebook. But Drive. and even Crazy, Stupid, Love. And come back here and tell me you're not crazy-stupid in lust with RG.

And his interviews. He is just so cute, in funny, yet quite way. aaaah, I will stop gushing now. But watch Drive Sherry!

  32. If Lindsey is wearing a line I would have never heard of or cared about if not for her being in the adverts, then she has been incredibly valuable to the designer. Whether we like her or not, if she's bringing publicity, and this doesn't seem like bad publicity (if there is such a thing), then she's worth her weight in gold.

  33. *Meant quiet. not quite. Am reversing my Es today. Brake instead of break, and now quite. Will have to get back on coffee tomorrow. Much safer that way.

  34. Thank you Beth and Rita.

  35. @Jasmine: stop complaining. Most people would perform in a private party for the president (whoever s/he is) for free, and likely everyone in that group was just so taken by the idea that they did it for the experience. Any costs associated with make-up, etc., were probably borne by the studio or someone involved with the film.

    ReplyDelete
  36. She also brought publicity to the designer by "dating" him a few months back: http://www.celebitchy.com/182768/linnocent_is_making_500k_to_model_and_bone_her_boss/

  37. Rita: Thanks for the tip. MAYBE Crazy, Stupid Love but I simply cannot watch Drive.I cannot deal with the violence. Any is over the top for me.

  38. LOVING the shoes in today's pix... except for the horrible ones on Lindsay's feet.

    ReplyDelete
  39. There goes my theory that Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan are the same person, different wigs.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Don't get the Fassbemder love? Check the full frontal in Shame. That is all.

  41. Jessica Alba's dress looks more like leather than latex. Now I have to go buy a new computer because the words "Jessica Alba" and "Leather" together just melted my hard drive.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @snakeoiler- you used a lot of 'likely's and 'probably's when explaining how you seem to know that they did not get paid a shit ton of money for this. Forgive me if I dont take reassurance from your words as fact.

I am a liberal as hell feminist left winger and yet this doesnt make me give our democratic liberal-esqe president free reign to do what he likees.

If anything, I am sick of people telling others to NOT question our president's actions MORE. I think it's perfectly reasonable to want to make sure that this party that was kept under wraps was not paid for with our tax dollars.

If you dont like my questions, who dont you go on over to North Korea, where Kim Jong Il's son is handling things. Pretty sure your wishes of no one asking questions about the leaders actions would go over like gang busters there. Have fun with that.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Emma Stone looks gorgeous.
Kate B: best extensions ever.... If that hair is real, you are a freak of nature.
PS) Kate, if you have any kindness in your heart, get Lindsay an appointment with your stylist.

  44. Jasmine---The PRESS CORPS was invited, took many, many pics that were published here on the innernets. The White House hosts a party with celebrities (if they choose to accept the invite) no matter which party is in office.

this is a manufactured scandal that comes out the same week as Romney's "I like firing..." and '"Envy" of the wealthy' comments. The party was never secret, never hidden. You are feeding from the Right's trough, and it's filled w/ sawdust.

Chewbacca was there too---The REAL one. Everybody wanna flip out now? the hundreds of kids who attended were thrilled, and that's the point every year for all WH public events.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Jasmine---for your future reference, his name is Kim Jong Un. And if you think there's any comparison to our leaders for having a holiday party, I suggest YOU go there so you don't have to be bothered by any frivolity whatsoever.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Anonymous3:01 PM

Give it up, Jasmine. You aren't allowed to ever question the Obamas on this site unless you want to be attacked on a personal level. Don't you know? Republicans can do no right and democrats can do no wrong. Even the idea makes some people begin to froth at the mouth.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Kate, if that's not a size 2, don't know what is.

    ReplyDelete
  48. If you want a new object of lust, go see Crazy, Stupid, Love. I have never been attracted to RG before until that movie.

    ReplyDelete
  49. You know what's weird? Jasmine is a dyed in the wool liberal. All she did was say she hoped our tax dollars didn't go to pay for a private party for the President and his family. I think all of us should question where our $$ goes, whether it's George W hosting hoe downs or Obama hosting Lewis Carroling.

My daughter frigging WORKED for Obama and I think haven't voted for a right wing candidate in my life and I think Jasmines question is legitimate. That said, back to gossip and snark: what the hell is Michelle wearing, and (god bless him), could Barrack look any more like a dork in that photo??

    ReplyDelete
  50. Libby- I referenced N.Korea to snakeoiler because he/she told me to quiet down my calm and what I thought reasonable question of asking if the pres paid for any costs that would come up for having an entire movie cast and crew come to a party before said movie was even out yet. I didnt insinuate a tone of castigation, I simply pondered the question. Snakeoiler took it there and N.Korea was used to compare people who are taught not to question and encourage others not to question the regime. NOWHERE was it stated by me that I compared our leader to their leader. You read into what I wrote what you wanted to. And you were erroneous.

  52. i guess i'm the only one who is unbothered by lindsey's ad, infact, i think she works it pretty well. if i didnt know it was her i might even like it and the clothes.

i am absolutely disgusted by the obama party. i used to identify myself as democrat. and then obama was elected and i've renounced the party (not to say i now identify as republican though, cause i dont). obama has really done nothing but disgust me since he took office.

    ReplyDelete
  53. It wasn't a private party for the President and his family, it was a private party for the children of MILITARY MEMBERS WHO SERVED IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN. And I don't have a problem if ALL of my taxpayer dollars paid for it.

Should we question everything else about this administration? Hell yes, but no, not the manufactured controversies that can be put to rest in 3 sentences. 1. It wasn't a secret, the press corps was there. 2. It was published on the White House flickr page within days 3. It was for military families. Done.

  54. Michael Fassbender is the hottest thing in Hollywood right now. He doesn't just act - he creates art. He's intelligent and funny. Check out Hunger - he's haunting. Fish Tank is a difficult movie to watch - ugly characters - but if you don't think he's sexy now, you may after watching that movie. X-Men First Class shows he is a leading man. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing A Dangerous Method or Shame yet - they both open here at the end of the month. Watch this guy's career - it's already awesome.

A want to be in a Fassbender sandwich. No, on second thought, I don't like to share.

    ReplyDelete
  55. nolachickee, then I think you'll be quite served with Shame ;).

I totally get why most people who haven't seen his movies, think "who's this unknown that makes other people froth at the mouth?" since he's super low-key so absent from most gossip sites; but give it a shot with one of his movies, especially Shame, Hunger & Fish Tank and you'll be an instant convert, guaranteed.

    ReplyDelete
  56. ^Saw Jane Eyre and X-Men. Was not impressed or fell into an abyss of dong-hunger for Fassbender.

But will watch Shame and Hunger to see what the big deal is all about!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thank you FS for explaining. I listen to NPR as my news source and they certainly didn't cover this. It's good to know the real reason for the party, which I think was Jasmine's original question. I wish NPR gave more attention to my need to know the fun side of the news. Right now it's all "Blah blah blah, Mitt Romney, blah blah blah, new Hampshire, blah blah blah, South Carolina, blah blah blah democrats, blah blah blah, opinion and conjecture. I'd rather hear about Johnny Depp's dress up games!

    ReplyDelete
  58. @Rita - don't forget Fish Tank. He oozes sex in that movie! And watch Hunger for his craft - his character is starving in prison, so not so sexy in that.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Gladys, I don't know why no one reported this at the time, it would have helped to show these military families getting some attention during some of our worse losses overseas. It's only being reported this week to drum up publicity for the book that just came out and to give conservative talk show hosts some fodder for their viewers because they hate talking about Romney winning the nomination. The party was discussed at the daily White House briefing on Monday or Tuesday. This story should be dead already, but I fear its going to last longer than the lie about Clinton getting a haircut on the tarmac at LAX.

  60. So my Mum and I saw TGWADT today and I quite enjoyed it...I can honestly say that I liked it better then the Swedish version... More plot points that should have been there were....etc etc.. I'm sure I've been the 100th one to say this.....Loved Rooney Mara!

    Love Emma Stone, too!

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Rita, if you're still reading this post, I fell in lust with Fassbender after watching a British show called "Hex" - then recognized him in Inglourious Basterds, then, poof, he's becoming a household name... He was sexy and dark in Hex. I think his hair was a different color then, too.

    ReplyDelete
  65. ^will have to give his movies a shot. I don't know what people are seeing, but he leaves me cold. Especially after Basterdz and X-Men.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Does Carey Mulligan ever smile? She always has the same bland expression on her face.

I just realized how little I've seen Keira lately. She was pretty over saturated for a while. She looks like she's had a lot of work done.

Lindsay should give up the orange glow. Might take away from the meth face.

Jessica is the third celebrity I've seen today wearing a really ugly leather/pleather look dress. That trend needs to die a quick death. Looks cheap.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Anonymous12:05 PM

I first fell in love with the Fassbender while watching Hex on BBC America. Then he was in 300, and I almost quit my life to devote myself to stalking him. He's just gotten better -- Hunger, Fish Tank, Shame, Inglorious Basterds, Jane Eyre, X-Men, etc. Sadly, I didn't love the version of Jane Eyre he was in (the version with Toby Stephens is the best, IMHO), but I think the fault lay with the director for that. He's excellent in everything he's in, and super hot, too!
