NBC Chickens Out - No Donkey Semen & Urine Drinking To Be Aired On Fear Factor
In what would have probably been a much needed boost to Fear Factor, this week's episode was to feature contestants (including those above) drinking huge glasses of donkey semen and urine in order to move to the next step of the competition. Definitely disgusting, but definitely going to be a ratings winner since it has been discussed all week. Originally NBC was kind of nervous to air the episode, but had given in and said nothing at all during this week of publicity. Over the weekend though they killed the episode and instead will air a repeat during sweeps. That is unheard of. If I were NBC, I would at least show a new episode. Actually if I were the last place network and about to slip behind Univision, I would probably go ahead and roll the dice and show the whole donkey semen and urine thing. You allowed it to be filmed so you might as well air it. I think NBC is hoping the SuperBowl is going to save their entire year and that once people watch the SuperBowl they won't ant to change channels for the next several months.
