Kind of surprising. A lot of actors smoke, but dipping?

    Could be almost anyone.

  3. Dipping is disgusting. I've worked with people who dip all day long. The spit cup smells like ass. This better not be my Fassbender.

  5. chewing tobacco is gross. My son's friend asked me at dinner the other night what it does to you, I said, "don't you guys get Weekly Readers?" Well, suffice to say, they don't.

Am I the only one who remembers the Weekly Reader with the pic of the teenager's gums after chewing tobacco??? They should bring that back.

  6. Fassbender for sure. Noticed that his teeth are looking buttery lately....although I think he smokes as well.

  7. Channing Tatum seems like he chews tobacco. Just me?

  8. I'm on the Channing Tatum train. He's from Cullman, AL and lots of men here do that.

If it had said 40-something instead of 30-something, I would have said McConaughey. He has dipped in the past. Here in Texas, it's not unusual (especially amongst people in smaller cities and towns), but it is a really disgusting habit. Guys carry these cups around that they spit nicotine loogies(sp?) in ... it's so gross. I remember when I was in high school reading a Reader's Digest article about a teenager who got jaw cancer from dipping, and he had to have almost his entire lower jaw removed. I can't understand why anyone would want to do it.
I would guess it's someone from the South, simply because it's a much bigger thing here. Channing Tatum is 31. Matt Bomer is 34. Trying to think of other Southerners in their 30s ...

  11. I don't care how hot the guy is, I could not kiss a dipper. Or a smoker, for that matter.

  12. It ain't Fassbender, because he never had pearly whites to start with. They were always this color. He smokes cigarettes all the time, but he's candid about it. No reports of dipping ever...

Does anyone have a squeaky-clean golden boy image? Bradley Cooper? Ryan Gosling?

  14. My husband chews tobacco. Not a lot, but some. It's a common thing where we live, but still, it kind of amazes me that he does this, as he's so disgusted by cigarettes. Fortunately, he's a rigorous flosser, brusher, and user of mouthwash ;-)

    Ah well, no guy's perfect.

  16. This is Bradley Cooper. He's talked about it before. I hope he stops.

  17. My soon to be ex-husband was a big dipper (and bigger dipshit but that is another story). It is a disgusting habit. Thank goodness that they came out with the little pouches because they were a lot neater. He has been gone from the house for over 2 months and I still occasionally find the used dried up pouches behind things. GROSS!!!!!!

  18. I work with a woman (a nice looking woman) who chews when she is drinking with friends. It always grosses me out when she does it!

  19. Oh my good GOD, chewing tobacco? Disgusting and stoopid, this can lead to oral cancer.

  20. For those who chew or whose men chew, there are "fake" chews out there made from crushed clover, mint or tea leaves to help the dipper break the physical habit to nicotine before they break the behavioral habit of dipping. Helped my man end a 20 year habit and therefore probably saved his life. It took him awhile to break the behavioral part of the habit (meaning he continued to use the fake stuff for quite awhile), and the clover leaves or tea leaves are NOT less messy, in fact it was "harder to contain" and even smelled worse, but it was not going to kill him so I didn't mind. Smoky Mountain Chew and BaccOff are two varieties. I highly recommend them. (By the way, he never carried the spit bottle or cup. He never spit the real chew. He just swallowed it. I can't imagine! SO bad for the system!)
