National Enquirer Blind Item
WHAT blonde, B-list movie star – she’s a former beauty pageant winner and model – was recently spotted at a Beverly Hills pet shop hitting on some guy half her age after he told her he was a huge fan of her ’90s films? The three-times-divorced single mom of three may be in her early 60s, but her cougar instincts are clearly still intact!
Cybil Shephard has not been married three times. Michelle Pfeiffer is not 60, nor is Malanie Griffith. Hmmmm?

I'm tempted to say Sharon Stone for obvious reasosns (three divorces, three adopted sons, ex-model and pagent winner). In addition "gougar instincts" recalls her movie "Basic Instincts". Only problem is that she was born in 1958 making her 53, not in her "early 60s". Frankly I think its her and the writer of the blind didn't boither to check the dates.

ReplyDeleteI would agree with Sharon, but since she's the real life version of Cruella DeVille, I'm not so sure she's much of an animal lover. Maybe she was scoping out the pet shop for pelts, though. Who knows?

ReplyDeleteAs for Sharon Stone lying about her age it is possible but I tend to doubt it for several reasons. The 1958 date has been public for decades and has, to the best of my knowledge, never been revised (as would be the case of actresses subsequently taking several years off their age). The date is consistent with all other public information (i.e. high school Queen when she was 17 in 1975). Lastly I recall an interview in which she said her one regret was revealing her true age. I don't think that was simply vanity but rather was a career issue. She worked in films for more than a decade before she became known to the general public with Basic Instinct. She was than 34 years old and within 4-5 years it was over in terms of starring in A pictures. Some of this is undoubtedly her choice of films but equally important was the looming age of 40 (the career end date for many Hollywood actresses). I think she would have loved to have lopped 5-10 years off her age after Basic Instinct but was just too well known to get away with it.
Glenn Close is blonde, has been married three times I think. I can never figure out Enty's current ranking system.

ReplyDeleteChristie Brinkly does have three children but has been married and divorced four times. While she has cameoed in numerous movies I'm not sure what 90s movies anyone would be a fan of.

I still think this is be Sharon Stone...it says 'may' be in her early sixties, doesn't she she is?? Also, cougar instincts...movie role Basic Instinct... too much of a hint there for it not to be her. Its not like the NE hasn't gotten things wrong before:)
