This Sunday afternoon I will be sitting on the futon and drinking away while watching the Golden Globes. I thought that as long as I am watching them and will be drinking, then why not share my drunken thoughts with all of you too. So, beginning at 4pm Pacific time on Sunday I will be live blogging the show. Come on over and have a few beverages with me, adult or otherwise.

ReplyDeleteA couple of years ago, Enty popped a hole in his waterbed and flooded his basement, so he's been sleeping on a futon ever since. He can't afford a real bed because all of his paychecks go to alimony for his 5?6? ex-wives. ;)

There was a piece of information that Vinbelle mentioned in another post made me realize I know Vinbelle! We both work in the industry and exchanged e-mails last night. I honestly don’t think Vinbelle meant any harm, just got carried away.
ReplyDeleteThe weird part is that we are both going to the Golden Globes on Sunday! We aren’t going together and are there for different purposes (sorry to be vague). I thought I could comment from my phone while on the carpet-would you guys like that? It will be a little difficult because they kind of frown on walking and typing-plus you can trip. But I can try. I won’t be inside during the ceremony though.

@girltrav: I'd be interested in knowing your take on Vinbelle's rancor. It was nice seeing everyone stand up for what they believed, even Jasmine who was in quiet agreement with her. And yeah I did some Law & Orders with Chris Noth and it was all over for me when he used the N word.
ReplyDeleteKind of hard to say-on one hand I think Vinbelle was frustrated because no one was listening to the opinion, and Vinbelle went about it the wrong way, Plus a blog isn't the right forum. But I think Vinbelle knows that now. You'll see that I am kind of protective of him/her and the reason for that is we work in the same industry...lets just say he/she is used to certain privileges and leave it at that. "clears throat"

I have even e-mailed Enty when that bad guy troll (with the really foul language) comes around. Enty is very good at removing those!
Sorry trying not to be vague, but I will be seeing Vinbelle tomorrow, and I think Vinbelle will chalk it up to bad behavior. Hope that helps.
