Kim Kardashian Replaced By A Dog

The good news of the day, other than the fact that I have lost a couple of pounds since my diet began this year is that Kim Kardashian can be, and has been, replaced by a dog. Skechers, which spent a considerable amount of money on Kim Kardashian the past year or so, has decided to not renew her contract and instead has hired a dog. Between this and Anderson Cooper saying he would never ask any Kardashian to appear on his show, I think the world has finally almost managed to stop spinning and despite there being what seems like hundreds of Kardashians running around, I don't know if they can get it spinning back in their direction.

Skechers said they just wanted to go a new direction. Kim Kardashian and Skechers were everywhere last year. It had to be a huge chunk of her endorsement money and now it is gone. Now if someone can only find that bucket of water.

  2. Oh, and I was commenting on people not buying into the Kardashian's, not saying it was that incredulous that you lost weight, Ent! LOL

  3. A dog is preferable to this talentless famewhore, her sham marriage really backfired on her.

  4. A dog is always more interesting than a trout.

  5. YES, It's going to be a good day.

  6. I think it's funny that KK was replaced by a dog of all things. Not some young girl like Annalynne McCord, not Selena Gomez, but a dog.

Maybe this means that the K's are going to go to that place where they seldom pop up like Speidi and Paris.

Congrats on the weight loss Enty!

  7. I loves Michael K's post on it. The headline from HuffPo was wonderful!

  8. I wouldn't pop the cork on a bottle of champaign yet. I think Skeechers changes their ad campaign regularly and this is probably just part of the same routine for them. Didn't Carmen Electra model for them. And Brook Burke too?

  9. Congrats on the weight loss!

Could care less about this trick though.

  10. congrats, Enty, that's great!

It doesn't matter if they were already going to switch up their campaign - what will stick in our minds is that she was replaced by a DOG. This is so perfect! Maybe America will be more fascinated by the Kardashian downfall than the Kardashians themselves. One can hope.

  11. Well I'd say the decision was appropriate.

I just watched the ad over at Huffpo and it's typical Kim. Sleazy.

  12. I have a feeling a lot of sponsors are going to be pulling out from the Kardashians. They don't portray a good and wholesome image.

  13. Love it. The dog is cuter, smarter and more sincere for sure.

  14. I wonder how Kim is being treated by the family. It seems that her quick filing for divorce is what precipitated all that hatred.

Everything bubbled to the surface at once!

  15. congrats on the weight loss enty!

  16. are people really buying those butt toner/whatever sketchers (regardless of kim/dog/whatever)? =O

  17. Anderson Cooper said that? Just another reason to love him.

Congrats on the weight loss Enty! You'll have to tell us how you do it!

  18. @Pookie...they really shouldnt. the study they used to "prove" they work consisted of 15 people and had negligible results (not to mention the ridiculously small sample size).

  19. congrats on loosing the weight.

keep it up and keep it off :)

and who's this post on again???? ;)

  20. Lori...that's what i thought. i know i'd read similar about studies done somewhere. what a waste of $! #marketingbrilliance/consumerfail.

  21. @Pookie - I bought the Dr. Shcoll's ones (don't think they're popular), and they do work on my back thighs, and lower butt, with surprisingly great results!

I wear them to and from work everyday. Have a 10-minute uphill walk in the morning to get to the office, with the Dr. Scholl's, I've got a finely toned tush and thighs!

  22. Rita...wow, glad they worked for you...had never heard of anyone having good results from them. (i'm old school, i've never bought them...so was just wondering).

  23. ^I walk everyday, so combined with regular exercise, I guess they contribute to better muscle tone. But we're talking Dr. Scholl's, slightly more reputable than sketches that knows feet:)

  24. I know we all bitch that we dont want to see another post of the Kuntrashians but in Enty's defense, I really really like this KK post. Keep these 'fall from grace' post coming.

  25. To paraphrase a famous line from my favorite show Cheers, it's a dog-eat-dog world and Kim's wearing Milk Bone underwear.

  26. An obvious upgrade.

  27. I walk past a Skecher's store nearly everyday on my way to work, and always get the urge to upchuck because Kim's skeezer face is plastered all over their windows... here's hoping this finally changes that!

  28. I really do believe we are seeing the beginning of the end...When too many American are hurting financially and she just throws away all that money on a sham wedding..Well people can only take so much. Always remember though what goes up must come down.

  29. WELL DONE Enty!!! You Can Do It!!!!

  30. Good one crila - a lot of sponsors are going to be pulling out. See, you just mention a Kartrashian and my mind goes right into the gutter.

  31. I bought those Sketchers Shape -Ups when they first came out, and at first I thought they were extremely comfortable and I wore them almost every day walking to and from work.

And then I started developing this intense foot pain. It took me a while to figure out that it was the shoes, because my feet didn't hurt when I wore them, it was when I took them off. Summer came and they were too warm to wear so I didn't for a while and my feet got better. I wore the shoes again, and my feet, again, did not hurt while I was wearing them but the pain started creeping back. Then I read an article about how these shoes are REALLY, REALLY bad for you. I stopped wearing them, and the pain got better, but here I am two years later and I still have problems with my feet because of these dumbass shoes that are also ugly as hell.

  34. Way to go, Enty!

I've also read articles about these shoes being bad for you/causing foot issues.

There was some comedian either on Conan or Fallon recently railing against them. Wish I could remember his name. It was HILARIOUS.

I doubt Kim ever really wore these shoes. The dog wearing them is more believable. So good work, Skechers.

  35. @Maja - wow, your story really scared me! Up to now, my Dr. Scholl's are not hurting my feet at all, but I know if I feel pain I'll stop wearing them!

    ReplyDelete
  36. So when are you next Enty? When will you stop posting stories about them?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Well, in Skechers defense, none of us have ever watched that dog get pissed on, so he's a much better role model. Probably does more charity work, too.

  38. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this headline the other day. :D
