Radar is finally reporting what the world already knew. Kelly Osbourne is drinking again. I could not have been the only one who thought aloud in a post that she must have been hammered or on something to fall out of bed in the middle of the night. You just do not do that sober as an adult. You don't. The other big giveaways include her thinking that gray hair looks good on a 20 something and that blue dress she wore to the Golden Globes. You have to be boozing to think that looked attractive. It was hideous and I wish one of the fashion police would have turned to her on the set and said, "I just don't like what you are wearing. I know it is too late to change, but honestly, you should excuse yourself because you are in no position to judge." That would have made for a more exciting pre-show. Instead it was, "Kelly you have never looked so good," or "That dress is so beautiful." Kelly herself said the dress made her cry when she put it on. I thought she meant because she felt beautiful. I think what she meant was there was no time to get another so she was stuck and people were going to make fun of her.
Well, maybe she and Christina Aguilera can go to rehab together. I think two people who feud and drink should spend some quality time together and rehab seems like an excellent spot.
Sadly I am not surprised by this, I had hoped she would stay sober but clearly that isn't the case. However, where is Radar getting thier info? Did I miss something? Is she back in rehab?

ReplyDeletei think she is doing what a lot of addicts do. She went to rehab for pills. So she thinks she can manage social drinking but it just spirals.
ReplyDeleteI had a friend that lost all of her front teeth becuase she was so drunk and tripped and smashed her face into the concrete sidewalk. She didnt even realize her teeth were gone until the morning. Has to wear dentures now.
The skirt's not so bad, but the top is awful. Puffy sleeves? It's hilarious when a "fashion judge" has missteps like this.
ReplyDeleteBut it's not funny at all that she's drinking. Some people just have addiction as part of their DNA, and those people are wise to never take any kind of drug, including alcohol or cigarettes.
That hair is awful.

ReplyDeleteI actually like the dress. Don't care for the sleeves really, but there's certainly enough wierd "costumes" at these things that I don't think this one is over the top. The hair though??? Ummm...not too sure...
ReplyDeleteWhat I do like about Kelly is that she is not afraid to take chances. Should she go out there and look like every other celebrity out there? No. Her originally and quirkiness is what has given her fame and success.
I know plenty of addicts who spiral by switching to a new "drug of choice." But I also know several people who have had a problem with drugs, but have managed to drink and party and not get into too much trouble along the way.
As far as I know, Kelly has not done anything illegal, has not gotten a DUI, arrested for drunken behavior or violence. She is of age. I say let her be and stop judging. There are plenty of other stars out there doing far worse.
I also love her line to Radar-she owns the fact that she's far from perfect. I think that is part of her charm!
I don't think she has a kind heart. Her meanness could be whats making her want to stay in a drunken or doped up haze. I even have sleepless nights over things I say in comment sections and I'm not even cruel!!! And Lord knows, she has been unnecessarily cruel.

The dress made me cry too. The hair was hideous. When I first heard she was going to be on the fashion police, I thought it was so Joan could point out someone live on set to say "this is how you DON'T dress/wear makeup/do your hair.

I fall out of bed sober! I sleepwalk, I have night terrors, I've got a whole mess of sleeping issues. So yeah, she was probably drunk but it's not a foregone conclusion.

not everyone is a cookie cutter when it comes to addiction. i know a LOT of people who are off drugs completely and have no problem handling their booze. everyone is different.

ReplyDeleteFWIW though I do think she is off the wagon, I'm not sure which vice it may be, but it has seemed that way for a while now. But just because you are high or faded or whatever doesn't mean you have to dress poorly-- just ask Kate Moss. One of Kelly's friends! Who always dresses amazing and who-- newsflash-- is a noted, longtime cokehead.

ReplyDeleteMy theory is celebs have addiction problems because they can afford it but even more because they have everything given to them and done for them. When we eat a meal we planned and cooked, we take pride in our accomplishment. When we look at our clean kitchen, we get a sense of satisfaction from having accomplished it. When we need or want something we think it over, do some research then make the best choice. Large purchases happen rarely and are the result of careful consideration. The glow from a new car lasts for weeks. A huge part of our self esteem is based on these small and repeated accomplishments.
ReplyDeleteKelly has always been a spoiled kid who was given everything she ever wanted the moment she wanted it and never had to work for a thing in her life. The only way for the rich and spoiled to get a shot of happiness is drugs and alcohol.
Oh and the dress and hair were a fail.

ReplyDeleteI love the shape of the dress; it's the material that looks too prom-like IMHO. The hair has been killing me for months though. At her age with that awesome personality, I could literally understand any color BUT grey. Honey, soon you'll have the rest of your life to hide grey...don't opt for it now!

also, performing on big stages with all the lights/sounds for shows. (she did try her hand at singing once upon a time)
most epileptics i know can't do concerts or anything with flashing lights due to it triggering a seizure. /shrug + also #WillingToBeEnlightened
