Justin Bieber Would Like To Ruin "Fear" In A Remake

Is Fear the greatest movie ever? Not even close. But it is not half bad and features a very young Reese Witherspoon and newbie Mark Wahlberg in one of his first roles. Apparently Justin Bieber really loves this movie and wants to star in a remake of it. Justin has obviously not cast a critical eye towards his CSI appearances. Probably some of the worst acting that has ever appeared on that show and remember, this is CSI we are talking about which generally has some of the worst acting on network television so that is saying a lot for Bieber's skills as a thespian. Just because you are popular as a singer, does not mean you will make it as an actor. Just because you are an actor and get lucky with a casting does not mean you will be good in everything.

Justin wants to acquire the rights and make the movie and is willing to spend some money of his own to make it happen. Rule #1 in Hollywood. Never make a movie with your own money.

  2. If Justin really loves this movie he will leave it alone.
I for one love the original CSI, it was about the science. I loved the characters and found their acting was suitable to the role they played.

  3. Ummm, he is about as menacing as a week old chickadee. If it is Mark's part he wants.

  4. Sounds like he needs a good entertainment lawyer :)
I enjoyed the movie but hopefully he will be playing the Reese Witherspoon role because he's no Mark Wahlberg, lets get serious here.

  5. i see well him in Reese's role and Kristen Stewart in Walhberg's role:my idea smells the Razzie Awards

  6. Oh my! This kid is priceless. Does he really think he can pull off Mark's role??? The movie isn't my favorite, but I enjoy it and have seen it many times.

Forget about the second half of the film when Mark is violent and crazy. We know Justin can't pull that off. But how about the amusement park scene?

Can you picture Justin trying to replicate that? I don't care who plays the female lead. It won't matter how much sex appeal the actress has. Mark is sexy doing Reese on the ride. Imagine Justin doing that!!! I'd watch it just to LMFAO!

  7. Wasn't there a little brother in the movie? He could play that part or just leave it alone.

  8. good. let him put his own money into this flop.

  9. Bieber, stay away from one of my favorite teen movies!!! I must've seen this movie 100x in the 90s and cannot imagine this irritating little ingrate ruining it in a remake. Ick!

  10. I really can't see him in anything except Home Alone maybe.

  11. I guess this would be like Home Economics for rich brats. Watch Hollywood types take your money and piss it away on something they know will suck.

  12. Love the line about not casting a "critical eye" :D

    ^LOL!!!
That is actually THE FIRST thing I thought of when I read this post.

Bieber fingering anybody sounds hilarious and inappropriate. I know he's 17 but boyfriend looks pre-teen if he's a day.

This just reminds me how freaking SMOKING hot sexy Wahlberg was in this film. I think I need to move to South Boston cause between Mark and Matt Damon I'm in my happy place :)) What is in the water in Southie to produce these two hot intense pieces of ass?!

Btw, Bieber AT 30 wishes he had 1/4 of the sexuality exuding off Mark in this movie. Your bloated hyperawareness of your own sex appeal has reached new limits Justin.

  14. That's the movie where Marky Mark decapitates a German Shepherd, right?

I think I stopped watching after that point, but I *do* I have fond memories of the Ferris Wheel scene. My vagina definitely woke up for that one.

Why do I get the feeling that Bieber is going through a Miley Cyrusesque late-adolescent, desperate-to-be-seen-as-a-sexual-creature phase? It's so WEIRD. His recent comments about ~making love~ weirded me the fuck out.

Next thing we know, this fetus will be doing pole dances at awards shows and taking wet t-shirt photos of himself in the shower. *shudder*

  15. @Ida - "this fetus..." - oh snap, you are too funny!!!

P.S. I still have your former photo as my desktop background on my laptop, in the NASA suit. I'm watching season 4 of Mad Men on Netflix, and I just finished the episode where Ida becomes Don's assistant. Why did they have to kill her off so quickly...

  16. @nolachickee -- Oh, I KNOW. I mean, I loved the way they DID kill her off, but still...

  17. Ahhh spoilers!! Lol oh well. Cant stay spoiler free forever

  18. I can definitely see him in the Alyssa Milano role...

  19. Oh, he definitely should finance it, because it would make a gajillion dollars. The little girls who are obsessed with him would watch it over, and over, and over again. It'd probably out-sell Twilight.

  20. Seriously???? Hollywood will throw $$$ at any shite idea. Wont they?

He's as scary as a slice of toast. He wants to be all bad ass. The Biebs would most like chase after the female, trip over his shoe laces and cry like a baby.

  21. LOL@ all comments

I really can't stand this no ass kid with his stupid low rider pants/shorts.

  22. Agree, Mooshki. Everything this kid touches for a while will be gold. Might as well make hay while the sun shines. Sigh.

  23. Rule #2 in Hollywood: Don't cast Justin Bieber in a movie.
I suppose there are some suits who'd think he would make them money, but a concert movie doing good business amongst tween fans and remaking a thriller (would they be shooting for PG-13? the original was R) that the fan base can't see with a star that fans of thrillers can't stand would be idiotic.
Having said that, there are plenty of movie execs who're idiotic so...

  24. He ought to give Mariah a call and ask her how well that little movie of hers:GLITTER did.

Just why is it that these singers, models and retired atheletes think they can act?
