Jeremy Renner Injured In Bar Fight
Although unusual, it is not that rare for an actor to get in a bar fight. Jeremy Renner is the latest and it happened in Thailand. What makes this bar fight unique was that the guy who was with Jeremy was seriously wounded when his assailant hit him with a rotor axe. First of all what is a rotor axe and second of all what kind of bar are you going to where people are carrying such weapons or think they are going to need such a weapon. Jeremy was only slightly injured. The fight started when Jeremy's friend dropped a glass on the ground. Seriously? Six people were arrested in the attack.
Holy crap, stay out of bars in Thailand Jeremy, I like you. I hope your friend is okay.
ReplyDeleteI wish Hollywood would stop trying to make Jeremy Renner happen. Along with Shia The Beef and Channing Tatum.
ReplyDeleteI kinda like this guy but I agree with Enty - something shady is up with going to a scary bar in Thailand. Unless your one of the WolfPack, then it's ok.
ReplyDeleteI read on another site that it happened at a gay club named Ratchada in Thailand, his friend was seriously injured, Renner is lucky that he was not seriously injured.
ReplyDeleteHopefully his friend will recover quickly and high tail it out of there.
@BigMama - I kind of like him too. Not hot, but like his acting chops.
ReplyDeleteMust have been one rough neighborhood to be attacked with a freakin' axe!
No worries Ladies, his peeps are saying that he got out unharmed, that he was not part of the fight! And all the blah-blah bs that would save his rep as a good guy.
Renner has already basically happened. He's a two-time Oscar nominee, and he's got 3-4 projects coming out this year. He's set to become a very big star if anything in 2012 hits.
ReplyDeleteThis story reminds me of the Oscars and the story Colin Farrell almost told about him and Renner being questioned by border police after partying in Mexico. You can figure that hookers, tequila and drugs flowed freely than weekend!
Sweet Baby Jesus.
ReplyDeleteA rotor axe sounds like something I'd like to have for protection - "If you don't leave myhouse, I'm coming after you with my rotor axe!"
ReplyDeleteThey need to be more careful in a foreign country...different culture ..and gay too boot...just plain dangerous.
ReplyDeleteBoys and girls, a rotor axe!

@Layna - Holy cow, how do you had that in your pants?
ReplyDeleteLooks like somebody went all Sling Blade on that guy!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who worked with him and said he's a really nice guy.
ReplyDelete@ Layna Day, that isn't the right thing. To the right in this link it the rotor axe made from a motorcycle brake rotor: http://tinyurl.com/7ejklep
ReplyDeletescary weapon!
ReplyDelete...and thanks for the links!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links - and I wouldn't want someone coming after me with one of those!
ReplyDeleteThe axe is made from a brake rotor. Pretty scary thing to be carrying in a bar. http://jalopnik.com/5873317/fictional-bill-caswell-attacked-with-axe-blade-made-out-of-a-rotor
ReplyDeleteYipes, that's worse than what I found. EEK! :-O
ReplyDeleteHe really doesn't seem like the bar fight type to me, I gotta say...
ReplyDeleteHe was probably trying to pick up some ladyboys if the rumors are true.
ReplyDeleteIn that case, Robert, it looks like he got all medieval on his ass.
ReplyDeleteI went to Phuket with my husband. We went to a show called Simon Cabaret. At the start of the show I said to him - they're all blokes. He said no way! I said yes way! He couldn't believe it. You really wouldn't know if you were in a gay bar or not in a foreign country that speaks a different language and has signs in different languages. Also, just because someone goes to a gay bar doesn't make them gay. Doesn't mean he's not, just saying.
ReplyDeleteAlso, saw Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol and he was hot and the movie was great.
HuffPo says he dropped a glass and that's when the stabbing and rotor axing began! The article said they'd been out partying all night, but were at a pub when it happened...?
ReplyDeleteI find this guy hot. He looks more like a classic, old time Hollywood actor. I would hit that like a screen door in summer. (I think someone on this board said that once, and I found it funny, so forgive me!) Anway, glad he's okay and hope his friend is, too.
ReplyDelete@Momster, I will never forget: that was LMSM on Skarsgard.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jason Momoa needed to #OccupyHerVagina.
Yes folks, #OccupyHerVagina.
Classic LMSM!!
^^Oh, yeah, I remember that thread! If we had a hall of fame of posts, that would be tops.
ReplyDeleteDear Hollywood: Please don't stop trying to make Jeremy Renner happen.
ReplyDeleteThe best celeb bar fight ever was Vinnie Jones in freaking South Dakota, fighting because someone asked him if he was "that guy from X-Men." Ah, Vinnie...
@Texshan
ReplyDeleteHe's already happened.
I refuse to believe he's happened. I just find him completely beige. No spark, no charisma, uninteresting, and ugly to boot. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteLots of articles are saying there was a verbal altercation. One made it sound as if he took off and left his friend there. I guess I would take off too, if I saw a rotor axe. However, I hope they werent close enough that he was just abandoning his friend. No remorse or concern stories on the wires. The police supposedly told one suspect to shut up when he tried to explain the altercation to the press. As far as not knowing if its a gay bar when you are in a foreign country, I totally agree. However the victim ran a nearby resort and lived in the town. So he must have known. scary.
ReplyDeleteI think he is kind of ugly hot.
ReplyDeleteTexshan, SO agree with you about Channing Tatum.
ReplyDeleteThe Main thing is, he is alright, and also, he went into a random bar in a foreign country, i mean its not his sodding local is it, he wasn't supposed to know that the bar was full of maniacs, haters just lay off Mr.Renner..Okay, At The End of the day there normal people so just deal with it, give them privacy... Don't Judge Them Because You Don't Know Them...Pointing Out The Obvious. -JD
