David Arquette Heading To Cougar Town
Just because you are separated and seeing other people does not mean you cannot work together. David Arquette will guest star on the season finale of Cougar Town this year. I'm guessing it will probably also be the last episode of the series. When you love a show you do not wait until almost the end of sweeps to bring it back. The show begins its run on Valentine's Day and the finale at the end of the season is probably also a way for co-executive producer David to make his mark on the show in front of the camera before it goes buh bye forever.
It's cool to see that these two must really be friends. To be able to work together post break up takes respect, class and maturity.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this show when it started. I have to admit, at some point I was watching out of habit. Became a one-hit wonder, for me anyway.
Hey Courteney, what's next? This was good, and I liked Dirt as well. She's into campy/strange, which is ok in my book.
They seem to have remained great friends....thats fantastic and healthy.
ReplyDeleteI like Cougar Town but I think this might be the end.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she will bring back "Dirt". That was a great show.
ReplyDeleteI would be disappointed if this turns out to be the last season.
ReplyDeleteGlad David & Courtney are able to work together. Some exes can be friends which makes life so much easier for everyone, especially their kids.
My, my what they will do for ratings.
ReplyDeleteCT show creator Bill Lawrence has already sold 2 new series. If you follow his twitter @vdoozer you can see how pissed he is at ABC for treating Cougar Town like a 2 dolla holla.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the end also.
This is nice. There is clearly a level of respect and great caring between the two of them even now.
ReplyDeleteI always thought it was great that they found each other, David is quirky to the nth degree, but sweet and genuine.
I still secretly hope they get back together, but not to the point that I would hold my breath.
I love Cougartown & I loved Dirt! Just started watching Dirt again on Hulu. Why do they do this to me?! (I'm taking it personally.) :)
ReplyDeleteI really like Cougar town! It has found its pace and tone, I think...
ReplyDeleteBut on the other hand, if Cougar town is gone, that means that Community will also be shut down... and that will break my heart for real!
Dirt was awesome but Cougar Town not so much.
ReplyDeleteLoved Dirt and love Cougar Town. Also loved Scrubs. And Drew Carey show.
ReplyDeletePlease keep Cougar Town. It is the only of these I think I have in real time.
February Sweeps is February 2-29th, so the 14th is not "the end of sweeps".

I don't remember Enty fibbing before to win weird arguments he's having with himself; it's become de riguer the past month...what gives? Is this a different writer? Are we going to have to look everything up for ourselves to see if anything in posts is true from now on?

ReplyDeleteI never liked Cougar Town. Courtney basically played Monica.
ReplyDeleteBut the worst thing about it was that her "son" on the show looks to be the SAME AGE as herself and her friends! I found that so very, very odd.
I love anything Bill Lawrence produces. Cougar Town is terrific. I went to one of the viewing parties and previewed three of the new Cougar Town episodes, and they are very funny. Scrubs fans, be sure to watch!
ReplyDeleteI think it's really admirable how they have handled their divorce.
ReplyDeleteI liked Dirt too! I was disappointed when it was cancelled. I think Cougar Town is pretty good too. Busy Phillips is the best part of the show. And the guy that plays her ex-husband.
I was about to ask if anyone here had been to the viewing parties...how was it Little Miss Smoke and Mirrors? My brother and his wife signed up to go in Philadelphia. I like that the cast, writers and crew are out there hustling to keep the show on the air. It got way funnier than the first 5 or 6 episodes would lead one to think.
