Can Ryan Seacrest Eat 100 Buffalo Wings?

Yesterday at TMZ they were debating whether or not Ryan Seacrest ate 100 buffalo wings while watching football this past weekend. I don't actually see Ryan watching football unless he was forced, but I could see him eating 100 wings. Ryan is an eater on the inside. The guy loves to eat but wants to be skinny. If you watched both football games over the weekend that is a little over 6 hours. That is like 15 wings an hour or one every four minutes. It might seem like a lot, but it really is not. Take it from a guy who wants to go to every Man vs Food Nation location but am sticking to the diet, that there is not much meat on a chicken wing. You are more likely to get bored eating chicken wings than full. I would say it takes about ten of them just to equal one leg of a chicken so 100 wings is not that hard over a six hour period. Could you eat one drumstick an hour for six hours? Congratulations, you just ate 60 chicken wings.

Yes, I realize I have spent far too much time on this. I think about these things a lot now that I am not eating.

  4. he used to be fat. its possible he still has it in him. it also depends HOW he eats the wings. when i eat wings i pull off the good meat and thats it. when my husband eats wings he like strips them to the bone. so i could probably eat "more" wings than him because i can't stomach the stringy fatty bits and leave them on the bone therefore eating less per wing.

If the wings are meaty, my husband and I can eat about 10 each (I hate when I eat as much as him). 100 sounds far-fetched.

  7. Ryan is from the South and like it or not, most Southern people are just a little bit obsessed with football. I know I am...

  8. I'm more skeptical that he watched football than he ate all of those wings. He used to be overweight, so he has it in him to put down those wings.

He needs to keep his weight down, so I would more believe that he was watching the Lifetime Movie Network while licking the wings, though never swallowing the meat.

@Tempestous Grape - does swallowing factor in your scenario?

  10. I agree with Cindy. No matter how metrosexual he appears, he is from the football-obsessed south. I have no doubt he watched football, and ate the wings.

I hate the long, two-boned pieces. I'll only eat the drumstick-like ones. But I bet I could down 100 in 6 hours. There is so little meat on them that the #s fly by.

  11. I'm a meat eater, but chicken wings are too much trouble for too little reward!

  12. I can't stand Ryan Seacrest. I sincerely feel that he is a misogynist.

TMZ is really scraping the bottom of the barrel if this is any indication. Also on their site is something about Fear Factor making contestants drink a full glass of urine and a full glass of DONKEY SEMEN before moving on to the next round. Hardly worth reporting not to mention really GROSS.

  13. LMAO, there is also a clip on TMZ of a reporter asking Ashton Kutcher, "Hey Ashton, is Demi okay?" but it sounds like he's saying, "Hey ASSHOLE, is Demi okay?"

    Totally appropriate.

  14. I came in to say what nunaurbiz said. I don't get the wing thing. So messy and there's so little meat it's just not worth it to me.

  15. I don't care that much for wings, but I bet I could eat a bathtub full of guacamole!! I also absolutely believe that he watched six hours of football - gay or straight. I know lots of gay guys that like football, and I know several straight guys that don't care a thing about it. Let's not be so quick to buy into that tired, old stereotype.

  16. Head to toe, this entire post made my equally food addicted and on a diet ass happy!

and thank you RJ, came on here to say the exact same thing.

Though I still do believe he could eat 100 dicks before his manorexic ass touched on 100 wings!

  17. He played football in high school and also I agree with the fact Southerners are obsessed with football - I know this Atlanta girl is!

  19. Chick n Deli. Mt Pleasant & Eglington. Toronto. (Great Jazz/R&B too)

100 wings easy, over the course of a couple hours. They are seriously that good. Voted in the top 10 best wings in North America!

They're now called "People's Chicken", but I refuse to step out of the 80's. Pffft, please.

  21. k, so I just found this tidbit in an article about the aforementioned chicken wing house in T.O.: "Jack Brewer, the brother of former NHLer Carl Brewer, owned Chick 'n' Deli until his death from a heart attack on Aug. 22, 2007."

Maybe 100 wings isn't such a great idea.

  22. I wish I got to the Chick 'n' Deli as I am a wing addict. The best I've had in T.O. was at a place called C.J. Gino's on Dundas West where College and Dundas meet. They had a half-price special and I'd stop there to demolish 30 wings before heading home-- and these were large wings, too! Fantastic flavour, as well.

Now it is a Wild Wings franchise, which sucks more ass than Seacrest locked in a bath house with John Travolta. Overpriced crap with small quantities.

The worst I've had were at Maverick's on the Danforth. I swear they must've used hummingbird or budgie wings exclusively, because they were tiny!
