BuzzFoto Blind Item
She was really big back in the 1980′s and then her career dropped off in the 90′s. She has a steady, cult fan base who she keeps in contact with on a regular basis. Her fans keep her spirits up, even though she’s obsessed with her own fame and image. This is probably why she meets at least one fan a week for a ‘hook-up.’
Elvira
ReplyDeleteTiffany
ReplyDeleteCindy Lauper?
ReplyDeleteGross. And sad.
ReplyDeleteYes, Tiffany.
ReplyDelete::insert any big 80s female star here::
ReplyDeleteJenna Jameson? Or was she more 90s
ReplyDeleteElvira is a great guess! "cult" most definitely works for her.
ReplyDeleteMadonna!
ReplyDeleteHow about Phoebe Cates?
ReplyDeleteUGH I HATE VAGUE BI's
ReplyDeleteWas she a singer, actress, model, etc?
For some reason I thought of Liza Minelli but I guess the decades aren't correct.
ReplyDeletedebbie gibson
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, Jennifer Grey popped in my head...
ReplyDelete@Chicars -phoebe cates is married to kevin kline. I highly doubt it's her.
ReplyDeleteElvira....although her fanbase is mostly gay men so that would be a little difficult for a hook up.
ReplyDeletePhoebe Cates has retail children stores here in NYC and she's an active mom & wife, can't even imagine this would be her...
ReplyDeleteOmama, you never know with these crazy celebs. ;)
ReplyDeleteElvira is a really good guess. Icon in the 1980s, still known among horror crowds, makes appearances at various events, apparently nice and gets along with her fans. And she's been divorced since 2003. The pieces fit.
ReplyDeletedebbie gibson or tiffany
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say Ally Sheedy, but it would be projection.
ReplyDeleteI have to go with Tiffany.
ReplyDeleteI love the Elvira guess. She was definitely cult.
ReplyDeletemeet & greet, for fan of the week. how sweet.
ReplyDeleteJoyce DeWitt.
ReplyDeleteI bet it is Courtney Love...
ReplyDeleteTiffany was my first thought.
ReplyDeleteMolly Ringwald
ReplyDeleteMeredith Salanger
Jami Gertz
?
@alecbaby if it is Courtney does she pay for the doctor visit afterwards?
ReplyDeleteTotally Tiffany!
ReplyDeleteBut maybe that's because I recently saw the documentary "I Think We're Alone Now". Haven't seen it? You must!
Sinead O'Connor?
ReplyDeleteI remember when she posted an advert for sex and said she had several men offer to take her up on it.
And she keeps her fans a little TOO updated on her twitter.
I'll probably get a wtf? with this, but the first thing that popped into my head was one of the MTV veejays, Nina Blackwood or Martha Quinn. But that's because I'm reading "I want my MTV" right now.
ReplyDeleteWay too vague, BuzzFoto. Kim Wilde? Sheena E?
ReplyDeleteMeg Ryan. ?
ReplyDeleteWinona?
ReplyDeleteIt's not Tiffany. She's married with children and recently did a concert with Debbie Gibson. They're really good friends now. Besides, Tiffany was like a 2 hit wonder or something and was big for all of 5 min. My friend knows Debbie and her family personally, so it's definitely not her.
ReplyDeleteI would think it would be more somebody like Blossom. Blossom was HUGE for a while there.
Sinead had her big breakthrough in 1990 so sounds a bit late for her. Maybe Joan Jett or Nina Hagen?
ReplyDeleteNot Blossom. She is currently a co-star on The Big Bang Theory. She got a Ph.D. in something incredibly nerdy, has 2 kids, and was offered a one-time guest bit on the Big Bang that "blossomed" into a full-time role.
ReplyDeleteYes, I deserve a kick in the ass for that moronic pun.
@Momster - I'm reading that same book. Love the parts that talk about making videos in the 80s. I'm not looking as forward to the 90s part, because that's when I mostly tuned out of the mainstream music stuff.
ReplyDelete@Amartel, I was going to post Meg Ryan too.
ReplyDeleteSean Young? PJ Soles?
ReplyDeleteSiouxsie Sioux? I still like the Elvira guess, but figured I would throw another name out there.
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it, but Cyndi Lauper came immediately to mind...
ReplyDeleteJackée.
ReplyDeleteValerie Bertinelli
ReplyDeleteTiffany lives in the UK, think it would have alluded to her being based overseas.
ReplyDeleteFirst thought was Debbie Gibson, or maybe Lisa Bonet.
Just looked Lisa up on Wiki and according to it she has a child named Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa. Catchy.
I think it's Molly Ringwald. Huge star in the 80s, and major cult following of movies like the Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, etc.
ReplyDeleteDidin't she try a come back a little while ago?
Winona Ryder?
ReplyDeleteKristy McNichol
