Bryan Ferry, who is 66 dates so many women who are so much younger than him that I forget sometimes which is which. Over the weekend he married 30 year old Amanda Sheppard and I really thought she was the one who used to date Bryan's son and when they broke up or before they broke up, Bryan showed an interest and the next thing you know, father and son have a new experience they shared. Well, at least he looks good for 66.
She's really pretty. Didn't Jerry Hall say he was really good in bed? Or did I dream that?

Saying all that, I will admit they look really cool in their wedding pic, sort of isolated from each other (surprise surprise) but cool nonetheless.

I do like Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music but I saw them perform many years ago and it was the lamest excuse for a performance from him that I have ever seen. He basically just stood there for the entire concert and just sang. Looking back he may have been on something.

I love Bryan Ferry's music absolutely to death, and he is still rather devastating, but 36 years is a bit of a stretch. Tony Randall married a woman 50 years younger than he was; they had children together and seemed very happy. Hope Bryan and Amanda stay happy too.

ReplyDeleteMoose, Tony was married for many years and his first wife died. I don't think he was gay. He seemed to be quite happy with his new wife and family at the end of his life. Being with someone a few generations away from my own doesn't appeal to me, but some people are OK with it.

@jrd - you have old man, and you have older good-looking man. He's the latter, add to that brains, dry sense of humor, and amazing presence: that man is hot. Clearly, a whole lot of the ladies, and some men, on this post perceive him the same.
