Blind Items Revealed
Once our actor had a male acquaintance come over to our actor's New York apartment. They were coked up. Our actress came home and was upset with our actor about something he was supposed to do but he didn't. He couldn't recount what she was upset about. He talked our actress into sitting down with them and to snort some cocaine and calm down. Our actress was still mad at our actor and began flirting heavily with he friend. Our actor wrote that after a little while he looked up and our actress and the friend were kissing in front of him. The friend began kissing her neck while our actress stared at our actor. Both of them were turned on. Our actor describes that he watched in silence as our actress orally serviced the friend while she was still staring at our actor. The friend finished and left and our actor began yelling at our actress. Huge argument that led to sex on the floor of his apartment. That was the first of many stories of the two in the one section of the book where he talks about their life together. There are others including several arguments our actor had with our actress and the makeup sex they would have. Very detailed. Infidelities on both of their parts and how our actor made our actress describe exactly what she did sexually with other men while they were high. Very intense sexual relationship that led to an engagement but fizzled when our actress wanted a different lifestyle. Pretty crazy chapter. The only good one in the whole manuscript.
Peter Weller is the actor. You have to figure out the rest on your own.
Sela Ward for the actress
ReplyDeleteAli mcGraw?
ReplyDeletePeter Weller was Robocop, right? Or too much hangover liqueur?
ReplyDeleteHe was engaged to Sela Ward.
ReplyDeleteSela Ward was engaged to him.
ReplyDeletewho's peter weller??????
ReplyDeleteWow, I was convinced I'd read Rob Lowe and Half Pint and could'nt hardly scroll down! PHEW!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut who was Peter with?
Yes, he was Robocop.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you'd reveal this one Enty! Peter and Sela Ward, for sure. I'd love to read that manuscript.
ReplyDeleteWow, Sela, I'd never have thunk it!
ReplyDeleteAw, Sela Ward? She was on Sisters and Once and Again. I hate to hear that about her.
ReplyDeletenow there's more than i ever wanted to know about peter weller and sela ward :(
ReplyDeleteIs sela ward well known? I'm across the pond and never heard of her. But maybe she's an A in the US?
ReplyDeleteI agree, Sela Ward. Yes he was Robocop, looked great in that outfit.
ReplyDeleteHe couldn't be too remorseful if he is schlepping this around town.
So not how I pictured Sela Ward. Goes to show ya never know.
ReplyDeleteIf I have to IMDB them, I don't consider them almost A list. Especially when I thought, "isn't that Robocop? no, he wouldn't have been close to A list." Yeah, stellar credits list.
ReplyDeleteWow, Sela Ward! She always looked classy. I'm disappointed and disillusioned.
ReplyDeleteSela Ward was the lady that got murdered at the beginning of "The Fugitive."
ReplyDeleteI used to love Sela Ward, she was the ultimate tv mom back in the day
ReplyDeleteSomeone had this all figured out when he posted this one. It was on the second day after he gave a clue but I remember someone posting it because there were arguments that Robocop wasn't a franchise, and that nobody would know the name Peter Weller so he couldnl't be former A list. Glad to get a confirmation for this one.
ReplyDeleteNice southern belle who knows how to go down(or get down)and dirty(knees)
ReplyDeleteTeddy! Teddy! Teddy!
epic story
ReplyDeleteSela Ward & Peter Weller. Freaks. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteJeff Goldblum for the friend.
ReplyDeleteI always thought Peter Weller was one creepy looking dude ! Guess I was right !

ReplyDeleteShe currently stars in CSI-NY and is doing a GREAT job, very classy and low-key. I never would have thought of her for this, she is such a stereotypical Southern Belle, or at least she plays one.
ReplyDeleteSela Ward and I'm guessing Jeff Goldblum for the other guy.
ReplyDeleteSela Ward seems like the best fit. AFAIK, Ali McGraw hasn't done TV.
ReplyDeletelol Rita. Or that other commenter to chime in with one of her "rehab" comments. Oh I've missed this place :)
ReplyDeletePeter Seller was huge for a hot minute, and I've always thought Ward was GORGEOUS.
Another person stunned that Sela Ward was like this. This reveal makes me want to take a long, hot shower.
ReplyDelete@Mnyerva - beautiful actress. Always looked well composed and classy. LOVED her on a TV show called Sisters.
ReplyDelete^Her and Susie Kurtz (spelling?)
ReplyDelete@RQ - shit you caught that one?
ReplyDeleteI deleted it, because you know, maybe she wasn't kidding after all...
@Little Miss Smoke and Mirrors, haha,I was just going to write LM s and M. thought better of it, Jeff is definitely a great guess for the friend. He always looks like he is thinking sleazy, kinky thoughts.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad thing, but it is with him.
Just Wiki'd PW and SW...both Cancerians...and as a fellow Crab, I'm honestly not surprised by the "still waters running deep" (and freaky) in the sex department. :p
ReplyDeleteLadies Home Journal and Yahoo Movies note that Sela Ward dated Weller in the late 80's to 1990. They also both mentioned a broken engagement between the two.
ReplyDeleteWOW! That's some freaky deaky strange strange. It's always the ones you would never suspect. Sela, Sela, Sela..
ReplyDeleteI had to Google Peter Weller. Good reveal.
ReplyDeletei like knowing the classy broads get all down & dirty, its just sex.
ReplyDelete& what hasn't jeff goldblum tried in his life?
I didn't see that coming.
ReplyDeleteI love Sela Ward. This makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteI'm very surprised about Sela Ward. She always seemed so classy to me.
ReplyDeleteI also can't believe this of Robocop. I watch Engineering An Empire sometimes, and he is a really good host. He has a graduate degree in Roman art and is super smart and stuff. Who knew they were both freaks when exposed to nose candy?
Peter Weller did a movie in the early 80's with Ali Mcgraw and they were together for a while and then he was engaged to Sela Ward...he was writer back then plays I think...and for some reason I think a college professor..also a runner..that's all I got.
ReplyDeletePeter Weller was on that season of Dexter with John Lithgow. He looked terrible, like that coke usage went on for way too long.
ReplyDeleteAlso shocked at this being Sela Ward. I really liked her on the gone-too-soon Once and Again.
ReplyDeletewow. this is my all time favorite piece of gossip. wished it was Rob Lowe, though :(
ReplyDeletedarn.
Oh he is not even attractive and boorish behavior like schlepping this manuscript in which he is kissing and telling makes him decidely less so. Love Sela...
ReplyDeleteSo crazy! Good reveal.
ReplyDeleteI really don't believe that this is Sela Ward. I think it was Ali McGraw. She was an A list Actress who was on Dynasty (a very hit network show) in 1984. She has publicly stated that she has had problems with alcohol and male dependence. It just seems more like Ali than Sela.
ReplyDeleteBut wouldn't Love Story have made Ali a straight up A lister...not an almost A lister or B lister back in the day?
ReplyDeleteAli. Ali was a freak. A friend of mine had sex with a girl in the same room as Ali and Steve. I know this is true.
ReplyDeleteSela Ward and I bet the friend he talks about is Jeff Goldblum.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Ali and Jeff Goldblum. Can't see it being Sela at ALL.
ReplyDeleteHas to be Sela. Blind item says they were engaged, which IMDB says they were.
ReplyDeleteIn my experience, cocaine is a drug that almost inevitably seems to incite dire personality changes (even crack--perhaps because the effects are so ephemeral--rarely had the same impact. Back in the 80s knew crack users who were nonetheless very sweet & thoughtful--tho' you'd not want to leave a wallet nearby).
ReplyDeleteCoke addiction can turn people into egocentric monsters. Unless you contribute to their self-gratification, they really have no interest whatsoever, & even after they clean up, there is sometimes what I call a 'residual a-hole effect;' people who once were kind & considerate by nature lose a little something that never seems to return.
There are undoubtedly exceptions. But am not at all surprised a former coke addict would still have a sufficiently brutal streak to cheerfully recount humiliations inflicted on an ex-partner. Am on decent terms with a couple of ex-boyfriends & relatives who got into the stuff. They have 'recovered,' but years later, I still cannot fully trust them or regard them as reliable friends.

ReplyDeletei fell in love with him when i saw 'shoot the moon' with diane keaton and albert finney. such a good movie. one of her very best roles for sure.
ReplyDeletebut he was very, very HOT.
See, this is how Enty always gets us...I would never put Peter Weller in the A list category! Would you? For going forward, I think we all need to think outside of our usual brad Pitt/Tom cruise box when taking guesses!
ReplyDeleteReacher B he said almost A list and after RboCop came out he was a house hold name in the late 80's for sure. I just don't know what other franchise Enty is talking about.
ReplyDeleteBut he was a mean son of a bitch on "Dexter"
Ali was born in 1939, weller 1947, would he have been with someone that much older? Plus, the way I read it, she might be in a hit show now???
ReplyDeleteMost importantly, of course, Peter Weller was BUCKAROO BANZAI!
ReplyDeleteI'll get my coat.
Cocaine is a helluva drug.
ReplyDeleteRelieved it's not Rob Lowe & Melissa Gilbert, that would have messed me up, thinking of Halfpint getting that freaky.
ReplyDeleteWeller is a known douche, despite Buckaroo Banzai (which also starred Goldblum) and his current academic career. I can see him shopping around a memoir as unsavory as this, not really caring who he outs. Yuck.
