Aretha Franklin announced yesterday that she is engaged. The Queen of Soul, who is 69 told reporters that she finally agreed to marry her very long time boyfriend. I love Aretha, and you know that her boyfriend Willie Wilkerson must be a very strong person to love the original diva. In her statement, Aretha cracked me up when she said, "No, I'm not pregnant." Aretha has been married twice before, but decided she might as well give it one more shot.
Good for her. I thought the pregnancy comment was hilarious.

ReplyDeleteRight @Skinny! I just imagine Stacy and Clinton from What Not to Wear screeching about the need for wide straps to um, balance her out visually. Not to mention to hide the straps of a very, VERY supportive bra.
