Over the past two days there have been some stories in the tabloids in the UK that said Adele's boyfriend is still married. That sounds pretty scandalous and would have been great to write about except if you read the article more closely it also said that he and his wife had been separated for quite some time. Heck, if I wrote about everyone who was separated and dating that would cover about half the planet. The good stuff is when they are still married and living with their spouse or left their spouse for the other person. That is the good stuff.
Apparently Adele wants to completely set the record straight though and took to her blog to say that her boyfriend has been divorced for four years. I wonder if she made him show her the divorce decree, because if she is just relying on his word, then she might be in for a shock down the road. Just saying. Look at it on paper. I remember this one time at band camp, this teacher told me she was divorced so we headed over to Vegas for which would have been another one of my weddings. When we actually got to the window to fill out the application, she chickened out and said she was not divorced yet. To this day I don't know if she was telling the truth or the four hour drive with me and three stops for fast food and two bathroom breaks put her off the idea of marrying me.
Sorry Adele, but you can do so much better.
ReplyDeleteWell, he's divorced (and has been for years, apparently), and she wrote an entire album about a busted relationship, so they've obviously got commonalities between them.

ReplyDeleteRegarding the two bathroom breaks - did she come in the bathroom with you? If not, was it the condition you were in when you exited the restroom that could of did it? Sorry Enty, but the inclusion of the bathroom breaks in the story is a thing that made me go Ewwwwww.
