Who Bought The $5 Pacifier?

Rachel Uchitel has decided to make sure she gets the very best for her baby which is due next May. Rachel just wants to make sure she is not the one who has to pay for getting the very best. On her baby registry, Rachel thinks that only the $1000 Bugaboo stroller will do for her kid. Seriously? A $1000 for a stroller? Damn, it better come with a plasma television and be handmade by elves for that kind of money. Oh, and because one stroller just will not do, she also wants a jogging stroller which comes in at just over $400. This of course assumes that Rachel will spend time with her baby. I am just not seeing it though. Also on the list are $300 breast pumps. More than one. On her list were two pacifiers which cost $5 and one was already bought. Tiger Woods?

  1. Right me in for a $10 butt plug.

Oh, a BABY shower. sorry then. That trick should just retire, and try making a decent living.

@Susan says it best, FB and Twitter give dumbasses a chance to still exist in our daily lives.

  3. Why is this "news" worthy of a post? C'mon Enty, you should be able to do better than this.

  4. Aren't million dollar strollers and baby gear all the rage among the rich and famous? Why would this piece of trash be any different. Hopefully having a baby will teach her to stop being a homewrecker. Although, I shudder at the thought of people this vile reproducing.

  5. I didn't realize she had any friends who would buy any baby shower gifts for her.

  6. Jennifer, you know this bitch bought that pacifier herself.

  7. She is just doing what comes naturally to her. Try to take as much money from people as she can.

  8. I bought it, I figured her baby should have something to suck on that wasn't previously contaminated by numerous "sugar daddies" .....oooooh too much?

  9. @BigMama - Nah, just right! Love it! It is alright to let your skank out around skunks.

  13. Self taken bathroom photo -- so klassy! If you see the other one like this she released you can see all her stuff scattered on the counter. Omg clean your crap before you send it out for public consumption! I know, it's the least of her many many issues.

  14. My sister bought that stroller, my nephew hated it. He loved the $200 one though!

Hopefully her role as a mom will soften her up and reinstall some values. I'm such a softie.. Every time I see a mama to be I hope the best for her. That baby is going to need all the positive vibes it can get considering all the negativity thrown its moms direction.

People have been known to make massive life changes for their children. I guess time will tell here..

  18. Am I the only person who thinks that 1000 dollars for a stroller isnt that much money? I dont have any kids, but friends of mine have been complaining about having to spend that much to get an Ok quality stroller, friends who are not rich or status obsessed.

If they don't have any friends to take a picture of them, what makes them think anyone's going to buy them a $1,000 stroller?

  20. I really hope this means she will not be on the next Amazing Race. I would hate to see my fav show ruined by this woman.

  21. Wasn't the Pram stroller all the rage for awhile amongst certain celebs like Gwyneth & SJP? I think those are around $2,000. I could be way off.

  22. There is no way on God's green earth I would ask any of my friends or family to purchase something that expensive. Geesch, I am scraping money together for gas to work and this idiot asks for $1500 in strollers? Something is upside down in this universe.

  23. @BigMama - you're on a roll today. AWESOME

  24. Hmm. I got my son's stroller on sale for $150 and it works PERFECTLY. I'd rather watch her busted ass on the Amazing Race than condone anyone buying a $1,000 stroller.
What I really wish these celebrities would do is register for things for needy families. Pick someone due around the same time and tell their rich friends to buy things for someone who can't afford the necessities.

  25. If she was on The Amazing Race, what description would they give her? Starfucker? Oh wait, that would be Survivor. I guess the apt description for these two would be "Morons".

What is that gold thing in the mirror? A toilet seat?

  26. mynerva, didn't she have to give the $10 million back because she broke the confidentiality agreement? How much of a dumbass famewhore do you have to be to throw that much money away for the sake of being on a crappy reality show?

  27. At the risk of coming off as snotty, which I promise I'm not, we had that stroller for my sons. We bought it ourselves, and could afford it - and oh baby, what a sweet ride. You can push that thing with your pinky while juggling an infant, a toddler, a bag of groceries and a latte. If you can afford it, sooo worth it. :) That being said, I wouldn't go without groceries to scrimp for it!

  28. Someone who couldn't afford the $1K stroller?

You might want multiple breast pumps if you have more than one house, or want to keep one at work & one at home, but I didn't think they cost $300; then again, my friends have been known to swap around baby clothes & other equipment all the time (there's a handmade swinging cradle that's held a generation's worth of babies), so maybe they do and I just don't realize it.

As for Rachel, perhaps finally being responsible for someone besides herself will give her a push towards becoming a better person...at least, for the kid's sake, we can sincerely hope so.

  29. @ RTMP - If you can't afford it, or don't want to spend your money that way, there are lots of other great choices out there, of course. Just like there are a lot of great cars out there that aren't necessarily BMWs. Hand me downs are always lovely too - I certainly have been the happy recipient of pre-loved things. And my $25 highchair beat all the fancy ones we looked at, hands down. I just posted to say that I really did love that thing, and it handled beautifully.

  33. @linnea I dont think 1000 is too much for a stroller, either... If you can afford it, or someone who loves you is willing to buy it for you, what the heck is the big deal? $300 is not unreasonable for a breast pump, either. I know "normal" people that have bought similar items.

  34. I hate to say this but a breast pump that actually works does cost about 300 bucks. The $1000 stroller however is stupid.

  35. I think $500 is a lot for a stroller! :) I always go into sticker shock upon entering Babies R Us to get gifts for showers.

How is this woman still making headlines?
