Tracey Gold Has Great Bondage With Leonardo DiCaprio

Tracey Gold is making the press rounds to talk about her new show which premieres tonight. It is all about getting help for women who have eating disorders. I don't know if I can watch it. I can watch a lot of strange things on television but I am not sure I can watch someone purposefully not eating and seeing how skinny they are and what they are doing to their body. I think MTV once did a True Life about the topic and I just could not take it. Anyway, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter they started asking if she kept in contact with her Growing Pains co-stars. I think the answer is pretty much no, but she says that she sees them at reunions. So, if you are only seeing them then, are you really keeping in contact with them. If you go to a high school reunion and see people from ten years ago, is that keeping in contact with them?

Tracey was asked about Leo and this is what she had to say. "I have a great bondage with Leo. He's busy, but I know if he saw me, he'd give me a big hug. He saw my husband at a Lakers and came running up to him."

So, is this some Freudian slip? Was she hammered? It is a very interesting way to say bond with someone. Did Leo used to tie her up? Does she want him to? Here is another reason I think she might have been hammered. She just says Lakers and not Lakers game. Two goofs in one sentence? Leo and Tracey Gold doing the bondage at a Lakers.

  3. idk, i met her once back around the time she was at her lowest weight. she was pretty much skin and bones. if they faked it idk how they pulled it off.

she's also dyslexic and isn't well educated (not meaning she's stupid, but like many actresses she was schooled on sets mixed with a prep school on her off time and did not go to college). the misuses of speech don't bother me.

  5. She's an actress, actesses are not known for their superior verbage or intelectual dialogue, unless it's written for them on a piece of paper by a writer.

  6. Didn't she get in a roll-over accident while driving drunk with her kids in the car?? Yeah, no sympathy here. I'm with Enty -- she's a drunk.

  7. What Bnl said.
I find it hard to watching eating disorder shows also. Every now and then they show them on Intervention and they are so TRICKY to treat. Based on personal experience and the experience of a few friends, eating disorders are such an ugly thing.

OMG she looks so much better than she used to look! I haven't seen a picture of her since her Growing Pains days.

  9. i think Bnl nailed it...and i'd watch just to see how h'wood handles this, and the outlet that's airing it (is it mtv?). should be interesting and heartbreaking.

  10. I doubt this was a Freudian slip- the woman just seems to not be able to speak proper English.

    Huge pet peeve of mine.

Based upon this pic I'm glad she's doing much better regarding her previous ED but I wish she would have chosen to educate herself a bit more in terms of language usage. I mean really, her career centers around speaking the language.

  11. I agree that it may just be a lack of a solid formal education.

  12. Or it could have been a transcription error on the writer's part.

  13. Is it possible the author of the article left out the word "game"? I mean, just because you have a journalism degree doesn't mean you don't make mistakes. Just ask the editor of the Greenville News who left in an F bomb in a sports article. :)
