Today's Blind Items

This former A list female singer who has had a very crazy year has checked into rehab on three separate occasions this month. She has also checked herself out the very next day each time because she is afraid she will lose her current job if her current bosses find out.

  2. No doubt, Xtina. I hope she gets the help she needs!

I can't help but root for her. In my ideal world, her ex husband will return and insist that Xtina stay in rehab. I think he was a good stable influence on her.

  3. Xtina is a great guess!

Finally! She is starting to realize that she needs help.

Maybe the boyfriend pocketing 85% of her "Christmas gift" was her wake-up call?

  4. Christina, please get help. You will have a FUTURE if you do. Who cares about being a stupid Judge on the Voice?

  5. I root for her, too, Seachica. Her song "Walk Away" on Stripped is just amazing. I know she has a shit attitude, but she's still young enough to see the light of day and turn it around. If not for herself, she should do it for her son and the pathetic excuse of a music industry we have today. I've always felt like she's been on the bitter bus because Britney got all the glory while Christina had the natural god-given instrument.

  7. Could be Whitney - she's got a film role right now ("Sparkle")

  8. God bless her. No one should ever be fired for seeking help.

  9. I'm on Team Britney, so I tend disparage Aguilera. But if this is her, I say: Get well and get over it, chica! Christina Aguilera was one of the most promising voices of the 90s, even if she couldn't sustain the kind of popstar career that her competition could. Some of Aguilera's songs are divine and genius, from the early Mulan song (When will my reflection show) and on. I was very impressed by "Not Myself Tonight," although I seem to be the only person who noticed that song. Get well, Christina, and focus on health and sanity. And latex bikinis and whips.

  11. Alcoholism is a recognized disability so it is illegal to be fired for rehab, unless there is something in the contract I guess. What do I know, I'm not a lawyer.

  12. Well obviously she isn't that serious at this point. Also, the boyfriend should be the first thing sent packing. I don't know him or the nature of their relationship, but let's be honest. Hot messes who like to party don't chose stable and reliable mates. If they happen to fall into something with a stable person, they can't sustain it. I don't know if he or she is the bad influence, but he's got to go.

  13. seems like the world would embrace her and her fight to be sober, single mom, former child star, blah-blah-blah. couldn't she, if she wanted to, snap her fingers and get her own music show? if she wants a show on your network, you say yes, right?

  14. Well (assuming this is Christina), at the very least, she has taken the first step in recognizing that she has a problem. I hope she will continue to seek help. I can't see her being fired from The Voice, for legal or PR reasons-I would think The Voice would want to set an example for it's viewers, being a prime-time family show and all. Admittedly, though, it would depend on her contract with The Voice, and state law, whether she could be fired.
