Sh*t Girls Say

First there was Sh*t My Dad Says which even made it onto television and now there is Sh*t Girls Say which has moved from Twitter to webseries. Juliette Lewis does a cameo in the first one.

  1. Yawn. And not a single person in Hollywood has had an iota of imagination or a single original idea in over a decade now...

  6. It's funny cuz I say pretty much all those things...

  7. Ugh, could people stop posting this? It's not funny. I don't know why I'm so horribly offended at this, but it's not funny. A friend of mine says it may have been funny if it wasn't a dude in a dress, which I agree with.

I don't know why I feel so repelled by this exactly. Kids in the Hall dressed like women all the time and I found it funny. But maybe that's because they were playing female characters in a not totally stereotyped and sexist way.

  9. So all I have to do is start a twitter account call sh*t I say? I don't get the appeal of Twitter at all.

  11. I thought it was kind of cute. I don't think it was supposed to be mean spirited or offensive. I think the guy was honestly just playing his girlfriend.

But yes. WHAT IS UP WITH JULIETTE LEWIS' FACE???

  12. I never found Kids in the Hall funny but thought this was kinda cute, but a series? No.

Juliette Lewis' face looked tight but that's the best I've seen her look in ages.

  14. I thought it was cute! And I can't say I've never uttered some of those things myself.

  15. I really enjoyed that, and Juliette Lewis moved up a few notches. Maybe I'm low brow, but I find it funny when guys imitate us women. It's adorable! Love the lisps, too.

While I never liked Fred Armisen's Obama impression or his earlier work on SNL, these days I can't even look at him without laughing after seeing his impressions of women (and "Portlandia" skits). Oh, and the "Royal Family" skit on SNL last weekend was great.

  16. Um, he just played me to a T. Not offended...just now looking over my shoulders making sure he's not lurking behind my parked car with a camera.

I think those that are offended probably don't speak like a 12 year old girl (guilty!) so they feel it's an undeserved stereotype.

  17. I should maybe be offended by this...but....yep, spot on for me too. Loved it.
