I'm Team Russell - she never really seemed to get the whole idea of marriage. She seemed like she just wanted to go out and party all the time. Sure he has a womanizing past, but that was also (at least partially) due to his addictions. If he's clean & sober, then he may have been faithful. People are so quick to jump on him - but she's definitely not a goody-goody either.

He was INSANELY cool. This photo was taken in 2009 at the House Of Blues in San Diego after his show. There was about 15 of us but he spoke to every single person in the room. And I mean had conversation.
I tried to play it cool when I talked to hi but I think I ended up telling him I thought the released version of 'Way To Normal' sucked & he should of released the b-side (or whatever he called it) version. Shockingly he took it well and said he felt the exact same way but sometimes you get pressured to do that which will make more money.
I also told him he should play 'Wandering' in concert. He said he had forgotten about that song but that it was "a good one". My sister actually called me from a Ben concert a few months later, practically in tears - all I can hear is him pounding out Wandering on the piano in the background and her screaming "My sister told him to play this!" over and over.
I mean that entire trip was a blast. I entered a very short version of it into his fan contest on his FB page. The one titled "I'm Getting This Tattooed On Me". There are at least 4 no-joke, write home to dad, stories about that trip.
Also - I totally stalked the readers photos of previous years (since this is the first end of year for me, reading this blog) and you guys have had some seriously great photos.

OMG, Dixie---"Wandering" is one of my top 5 favorites, for sure! It epitomizes what i really love about Ben---He writes always from a completely male perspective, KWIM? That is, he'd rather have a great, meaningful TRUTHFUL song than have some wussed-out hit. He really doesn't pull any punches with his feelings. He'd probably have much more money if he wrote songs that little girls could relate to, but he NEVER does. His honesty rips my heart open, as a straight woman who has dated many an all-male man.
In fact, "Wandering" describes PERFECTLY a few of my ex-boyfriends (usually those in their late 20's), "Ready to but never could."
Btw, Dixie, this pic is so old. My hair now is shoulder-length and my natural color (dark blond). It won't grow any longer, and I'm thinking of cutting it off again, but I'm 40 now and don't wanna look like a soccer mom. (No offense to any gorgeous soccer-mom CDAN readers out there!)

Here are some safety tips: Try not to drink as much as a Lohan, tell your boss off and get your ass fired like Charlie Sheen, cheat on your spouse with some bar skank like Ashton Kutcher, don't cheat on your wife with your ugly housekeeper like Arnold did while you're at it, don't get your naked pics you carry on your cell phone stolen and posted on the internet, don't tweet pictures of your junk to anybody either, don't resurrect and update old stupid television shows from the 1970's and most importantly don't marry anybody and divorce them 72 days later because then everybody on earth will hate your ass. Also if you're a single young woman in the U.K stay far away from Russell Brand's house. By the stroke of midnight tonight that place will resemble the orgy scene from "Eyes Wide Shut."
I've become spoiled by Enty posting 7 days a week...feels odd to have a dark day, even though we used to only get posts M-F. I'm waiting in delicious antipation of a day of reveals. I went out and bought chips and dip for tomorrow, and I plan to spend the day reading, posting, noshing and cooking. Yay! Happy new year's eve everyone!

RQ is alive and well. Just not commenting a lot right now. Kinda like me. @hogfan yes 80! It was 82degrees @ Christmas didn't feel like Christmas, but that's Florida for you! At least today it's in the 70's (79 to be exact, lol!) I'm excited for this week because the highs here will be in the 60's with lows in the 30's. Typical Florida weather sweating one week and freezing the next!
I was always under the impression that Beyonce was pregnant just supplementing her bump so it would look good in dresses. Lately Im thinking shes not pregnant at all. Oh and that store video? Everything in the picture is wider.
I don't like bloody Mary's -- yes, it's sick, but I think harming a beautiful tomato by processing it is mean. I don't like tomato sauce either. bUT, I will break out some baileys. Does that get me back into the cool posters club? :-)
