I have to say that Paris Jackson being on Ellen was probably more interesting than Lindsay Lohan. I don't know that I have ever heard her really speak so it was interesting to hear her take on things, especially wearing masks as a child.
Definitely more interesting than more of LiLo's bs. Can you imagine listening to her babble about how she felt like she was channeling the spirit of Marilyn, or whatever?
She is already beautiful, just give her a few years and she will be completely stunning. I just hope she grows up to be as well adjusted as she could possibly be.
That is a beautiful girl inside & out. I hope no one stands in her way (I'm talking family) when it comes to what she wants to do with her life. She seems to have a really good head on her. And it just goes to show that fame at a young age doesn't give you a free pass or reason to drink excessively, use drugs, etc.
I wonder what the guardianship arrangements will be after her grandmother passes? I'd hate for one of her skeevy uncles (as in Jermaine) to take over her life and destroy her.
I remember hearing something on some show that MJ enjoyed being friends with women who had strong personalities: Brooke Shields, Elizabeth Taylor, Madonna--that it wouldn't surprise them if he raised Paris to be outspoken and independent. I've wondered if that had to do with his mother being pushed around by Joe for so long.
Paris seems like a lovely girl, very smart and self-aware. I hope everything works in her favor.
She seems like a normal teenager, which is nice to see. As crazy as MJ's life was, he did do something right when he raised those kids because all three of them seem to be pretty well adjusted. And I agree with Layna Day - he did have many strong female women in his life and I'm sure Paris knew them growing up. Elizabeth Taylor is not a bad role model for a young girl to have!
there is nothing "normal" about being in movies, etc. her dad had her wear masks to protect her. he wasn't dead a week before their faces were everywhere, and now she's on tv and going to be i a movie. hello, not her father's wishes. having your father die and having to adjust to that is enough to deal with. i think it's wrong to stick this kid in front of cameras. in a year, she'll be hanging out with the kardashian girls.
I sure hope not. I have hope - she does seem to be level-headed, and hopefully she will escape the clutches of her family. I never got past the weirdness of MJ, but he did do something right.
Me - this could very well be her wishes, I like the thought that MJ raised her to be strong, which includes doing what she wants which may be movies.
Me: I thought the same thing. MJ kept those kids very protected and out of the spotlight, now that hes gone, and the Jacksons have their hands on them, they're everywhere. He would have hated that, and it bothers me.
At first I thought the same thing that many of you do, I wondered why the kids' faces were suddenly everywhere after MJ's death when he went to such great lengths to hide them.
I was a BIG fan of MJ back in his Off the Wall and Thriller days. I remember watching him close himself off from the public more and more. It seemed the more famous he got, the more reclusive he became, which made people even more desperate to get close to him. I think it was a vicious circle. That's also when he started to really change his appearance. I always felt that walling himself off from the world contributed greatly to his unhappiness, but that he didn't know any other way to handle it.
I wonder if him doing the same thing to his kids was really in their best interest or if he was trying to protect them from the world because he felt that he wasn't protected as a child. They might be better off living semi-normally, even as the children of a famous person.
Obviously this is all wild speculation, but it's an opinion I have held for a long time.
I agree that dealing with that family will be their biggest obstacle. I wish them all the best.
^Just to reassure a few: it is said that after the grandma dies, that Janet would be taking over raising the kids. Hope it's true, for in all that crazy, she the least crazy.
Are you kidding me? She seems infinitely more interesting than Blohan on her best day (whatever that is). Good luck to you Paris Jackson and I look forward to seeing more of you in the future.
she is gonna be beautiful. that is all.

ReplyDeleteCo-sign Mooshki. A much better interview, and more interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat young girl has a bit of the "It Factor" though.
I found that so sad watching her I teared up, I know Michael was a little weird but I still miss him.

ReplyDeleteI fear that she has no Jackson blood in her and that Joe or Jermaine will try to marry her off to one of her cousins. I put nothing past those two

ReplyDeleteI think Michael loved his children deeply despite all of his inner demons. She seems well adjusted. I wish her and all of his children the best.
ReplyDeleteShe's a lovely child wish her the best...and if she remembers everything Michael told her he probably warned her about his siblings...

ReplyDeleteShe is a pretty girl. You can see a lot of her mother in her - the whole shape of her face is Debbie Rowe's.
