Lindsay Lohan Gets Her Stuff Stolen
If Lindsay Lohan is telling the truth, and at this point in her life who knows if she would even recognize a truth, Lindsay got her Chanel bag stolen, her passport and a huge wad of cash. The lucky thief probably also got a year supply of prescription medications; a candy bar which is Ali Lohan's food for a year; and probably some incurable disease for touching something Lindsay toughed without using protection. A couple of things here. Why Lindsay needed her passport to travel to Hawaii is beyond me. Maybe she thinks it is a country. You know what, I bet she does. The big wad of cash? TMZ referred to it as tons of cash. I would venture to say it is probably many thousands of dollars. Can't pay for some of the things Lindsay likes with credit cards. This is a vacation so you know she is going to party. Either that or she is earning money selling naked photos of herself. I wonder how Lindsay likes being on the other end of the stealing. I bet if it really was stolen and the person gets caught they do ten time more jail than Lindsay. If they got off easily like Lindsay did she would be the first to complain about the justice system.
Aah, good old karma. I too, thought, who brings a passport when traveling in the country?
ReplyDeleteI also find it hard to believe it was stolen, especially with the "entourage" she travels with. Probably just left it somewhere. Whatevs. Like you said, she's getting a taste of her own medicine.
her passport might be her only legal id at this point to get on an airplane. I lost my driver license and had to travel domestically with a passport, felt totally silly doing it.
ReplyDeleteMy gut tells me this is some kind of scam. Either with insurance or the hotel she is staying at that she most likely can't afford. Claim she was robbed and the hotel will forgive all her bills to make amends. She is so dopey i'm sure in a few months she will be trotting around with the Chanel bag that was "stolen". Just like that fur jacket she accidently "took" that wasn't hers.
Someone stole the DRUGS in her purse, which is what she is most upset about.
ReplyDeletePoor Lindsay, ALWAYS the VICTIM.
And as long as she has a valid driver's license, she should be able to fly. What a twit.
I always travel with my passport. And I'm legit. It's not that big of a deal. This new Enty is kind of out of it. I appreciate the East Coast posting times and weekend postings, but lately there have been so many posts where I think to myself, "Really? Aren't you supposed to be pretending to be a lawyer?"
ReplyDeleteExactly, timebob. Remember when she went to Cannes last year and claimed her passport was stolen, so therefore, wasn't able to make it back in time for court?
ReplyDeleteAnd Dina, the mental giant, released a statement saying that she went to the French embassy to get a a new passport. The French embassy? You know the old saying "beauty fades, but dumb is forever"? Not that I'm implying that either of them are any beauts, just dumbasses.
Katie, I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteIt's just easier to travel with your passport, especially in the US where security can be over the top.
I travel with my passport too. Better id than a driver's liscence.
ReplyDeleteWhy would she carry thousands of dollars in her expensive purse and leave it in a car? I dOn't think she is that careless with money. Scam.
Yes, I was thinking this isn't the first time she's said her passport was stolen.
ReplyDeleteI used to travel cross country every week for years and never thought to take my passport with me as ID. Just another thing you can misplace.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how long she'll look for the American Embassy to replace the passport? I'd tell her it was at Kalaupapa on Molokai and then reopen the leper colony.
Another load of crap from Lindsay. Hey, maybe because without her passport, she can't return to LA so soon and can't do her community service, poor Linds!
ReplyDeleteYeah I'll bet she brought her passport because she thought she was going to another country, like in the Caribbean or something. LMFAO at this moron.
ReplyDeleteshe can use her playboy spread as id in the strip search for TSA.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it so strange for her to take her passport with her while traveling within the US. I take my passport along all the time and I hardly leave the country (the Netherlands that is). Granted.. it’s a lot easier to cross a border here than it is in the States, but still...
ReplyDeleteDoes Lindsay have a valid driver's license at this point, or was it taken from her for all her drugs/dui's? She may need her passport as legal ID.
ReplyDeleteyou can get a non-driver ID but im sure she is too lazy to go to DMV and get that done. I believe she got her license back when she did her last stint at Betty Ford.
ReplyDeleteNoetje, I would think that at least 75% of Americans do not have a passport. I wonder if I can find the exact number.
ReplyDeleteThe number of Americans who didn't have passports used to be high but that was because they could travel to Canada, Mexico and parts of the Caribbean without one. Now that they need passports to get into Canada and Mexico, the number of Americans without passports has dropped considerably.
ReplyDeleteIt was a false statistic that the rest of the world would use to look down on Americans but considering where they could go without one, that's a huge chunk of land.
Two years ago, passports were needed at land border crossings between Canada and the US and the amount of Canadians who applied for passports skyrocketed.
i always travel with my passport even if it's only in Europe (some hotels prefer passport to the french ID card)
ReplyDeletelast year,LiLo yet lost her papers in Cannes
Joymama, I don't think she can use her photos from Playboy-they were too photoshopped.
ReplyDeleteanita_mark, the best number I found is that 37% have a passport. That is from the State Department website.
ReplyDeleteDec 12 - 2010 - Lindsay sneaks out of Better ford to get her drink on at a bar, comes back and attacks a staff member.
ReplyDeleteDec 10 - 2011 - Lindsay parties in Hawaii and loses her $5,000 Chanel purse, cash, ID's and passport.
Can't wait to see what she does next year.
I would love to see what was in her stolen bag. And what the circumstances were. She was probably at a Walmart needing some supplies to make meth and was all, "I'll jus leeeve my prrrse in tha car cuz I gotta carry in an emptee one to carry out my boosted supplies to make my meth...no one will steeeel my Channel bag...don't you know who I am?"
ReplyDelete@ .Robert, wow that's low. Is there a date on that stat? Up here, the number of passport applications skyrocketed when we suddenly needed them to get into the US, Mexico and parts of the Caribbean. To be fair though, the US is a huge country so maybe people are choosing to vacation "in-house" if you will. I don't know why I'm being positive but I am.
ReplyDeleteBack to LL, she's an idiot for leaving a purse in a car (esp. a Chanel purse) with a passport and tons of cash. But she's probably lying.
It is current, link: http://travel.state.gov/passport/ppi/stats/stats_890.html
ReplyDeletehaven't read all of the posts, however, she would need a passport to travel to hawaii if she didn't have another government sponsored ID.
ReplyDeleteI imagine w/all of the dui's etc., she has lost her license. then she'd either need a state ID card, or a passport to get on a commercial plane going anywhere.
I love stats pages like that, thanks. So clear, why didn't the internet exist when I was in school? It has jumped considerably though since the rules changed for North America.
ReplyDeleteShe claimed to have her pocketbook stolen a few years ago at an airport and it showed up there. Wnh would she leave a bag full of cash unattended? Must be an insurance scam.
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you what the thief didn't grab: Her dignity. That would be like stealing Kanye West's humility, or Courtney Stodden's sense of modesty.
ReplyDeleteThe thief didn't grab her dignity because she lost that years ago...
ReplyDelete;)
Wow, that's nuts. I don't know anyone without a passport. We got my son his when he was 6 weeks old.
ReplyDeleteI also travel with my passport. It's much easier to handle due to the size and I a can put my boarding pass right by my picture. Security agents really appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how this "robbery" turns out.
I have a passport card...it's a pretty awesome little thing.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the person who owned the COKE PANTS stole her purse. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have a passport, but I don't bring it with me unless it's required. And, yes, Lindsay has to have a driver's license. Remember awhile back when she almost hit some lady with a stroller??
ReplyDeleteI heard she is claiming $10k was stolen from her purse. Who carries that much cash with them?
